I think Role Models will get a lot more obvious laughs but Zack and Miri will be a more well rounded comedy

Z&M definitely seems like a movie that will keep the laughs going throughout the whole movie. From the trailers it looks like Role Models will wind up becoming feel good later on. I hope it doesn't because maybe this is the return of Sean William Scott from the days of Stiffler and Dude, Where's my Car

Or you could just watch in online in a couple days.

That was in Old School was SWS played the pony trainer with the tranq gun that Will Ferrell shot himself with. Hilarious. Pretty much everything he's done since has been terrible.
I'm super stoked for Z&M. Hopefully will go see it tomorrow. If not, as soon as is human possible thereafter.

I never once mentioned your name in here, AQ. I respect your opinions because you provide reasoning. Your posts are intelligent, at times though provoking, and rational. Even though there are times I pick on you, it's not done out of spite but just to bust your balls (or lack thereof).
BB, on the other hand, just posts one sentence stating something contrary, at times with no basis, and leaves it at that. I have rarely seen BB provide a reasoning for being contrary.

If you're opposed to something Bruce says, ask him why. He has always provided more than adequate support for his statements, and he's one of the most respected posters on this site because of it.

I went to see it again. Oddly enough I was again watched it in Toronto even though I do not live there and rarely go there. Once again I thought it was incredible. I was under the influence this time just because I had already watched it and yet I did not laugh any less than I did the first time I watched it. I think I will be downloading the podcast/commentary Kevin Smith and Scott Mosier are making so I can listen to it while watching the movie. They tried to do the same thing with Clerks 2 but theatres got pissed and threatened to not play the movie. This time they are doing it on the downlow and I am really excited to listen to a commentary in theatres because I love commentaries.

I really enjoyed it, but I had some misgivings...
Anyone else feel that the ending was a little forced? A lot of movies lately have been doing the guy and girl fight, then you flash forward a few weeks/months to the future where they miss each other and get back together. It just felt way too contrived for me. It actually left a really sour taste in my mouth at the end of the film.

Yea, have to agree with you, it felt too forced and just made for a horrible ending. But gotta give props to Craig Robinson, he was definitely the highlight of the movie.

I just thought the ending didn't conclude anything, like I kept thinking there should be more. The clip after all the credit sort of did it but as a whole I have to concur, the ending - not so hot.
I just got back from this movie, and it was amazing. I loved every second of it, the best comedy I've seen this year. Obviously the best part was Jeff Anderson getting pooped on.
I finally got to see it last night. It was definitely worth the wait.

I will be heading to the theatres for a double feature of Role Models and Zack and Miri Make a Porno this weekend I believe. Either that or Tuesday. Normally I need to wait at least a year to see a movie a second time and enjoy it but Zack and Miri has been one of the awesome exceptions.

I finally watched it (with a real cute girl. damn). It was really really funny. I didn't like the whole love thing too much. Thats what seemed forced and kind of awkward, but it didnt take away from the movie too much. It was still cute sometimes.
