We all have one guy we think is a beast... mine is

http://assets.espn.go.com/photo/2008/1024/ncf_g_smith_300.jpg

Andre Smith LT Alabama
6'4 340

This guy is a beast in the run game and has quick feet for the pass protection. Top 5 pick this year or next year for sure.

It's between Malcolm Jenkins and Michael Crabtree. Julio Jones is definitely going to belong on this list as soon as he's eligible.

I have to agree with Race for the Heisman.

Malcolm Jenkins is just awesome.

I like the Orakpo mention. Him and Andre Smith are just a hair behind the previous two I mentioned (for me, obviously). Smith proved he is just a tiny bit mortal with the holding call against him today.

Emanuel Cook. Closing speed, hit power plus a boatload of solo tackles over 3 years. He's easily the most overlooked prospect right now, as he's playing for the most underrated defense in college football.

I'm a UGA fan and my favorite prospect is Tim Tebow. Do I think he should be the top overall pick or first QB taken? Probably not, but I think every NFL team that could use a QB to develop, should look at him. He's a high risk/high reward propect. He may never develop into an NFL starting calibre QB or he may develp into a superstar. He's got great physical tools and great intangibles. Some team that can afford to let him sit the bench for at least a year may take a shot at him earlier than many realize. I could see a team falling in love with him after seeing him in workouts and interviews.

I thought this thread was about your favorite prospect, not favorite player on your favorite college team.

I agree with Percy Harvin and Dante Love. Little gamebreakers FTW.

Edit: That's the spirit UGA fan ^^

Hey, you settled on Sintim and you're going to have to live with it. Besides, I'm a Cal fan. Everyone on this site stole their Alex Mack love from me as far as I'm concerned.

Homer:
http://cache.daylife.com/imageserve/02BOb937xbcV0/610x.jpg
RB Kory Sheets - I think this guy is going to make some team very happy from the late rounds, he has everything you look for from a RB, except maybe ideal size, and I think he could be a successful NFL starting RB.

Non-Homer:
http://media.scout.com/Media/Image/48/482712.jpg
DE Brian Orakpo - The guys just knows how to get to QBs, and has an already solid repertoire of moves. Whoever drafts him will end up with a star DE.

Prospect I'm extremely high on that no one else talks about:
(No good picture available)
DT Myron Pryor - I've watched this guy several times, and every time have come away impressed. He gets push constantly, seems to live in the opponent's backfield at times, and gets after the QB on occasion. If he went to a bigger school, he might get drafted in the first 3 rounds, but if teams watch his game film, someone is going to draft him and walk away happy.

My favorite... I thought about it and it's got to be Frantz Joseph. The 6'3, 235 pound ILB from Florida Atlantic. I've been lovin' Joseph as an underrated senior LB with 3-4 ILB size and don't quite understand why he flies under the radar so low. I'm guessing because he plays at a small school. But I've been high on him for a while now. He seems to have tremendous range and makes plays all over the field. (Though I've only seen him play about 3 times). I thought he could be as high as a second round pick, but I asked Scott about him recently and apparently he's not even a draftable player. Shucks. If that's the real case, I would love to pick him up as early as Round 4 or 5.

Gettin' some sig love! ;)

I've loved Oklahoma's Jermaine Gresham and Ohio State's Malcolm Jenkins for a long time now.

I like Georgia Tech's Michael Johnson more than most, the same goes for Brian Cushing, and for the pride of the MAC, I like Ball State QB Nate Davis as an early 2nd Round pick.
