How good is he as a prospect. I just heard of him

He's among the top 3 or 4 junior OTs. He's really athletic. I doubt he declares this year though as he could be a 1st rounder next year

REALLY ATHLETIC... Raw though. Still needs another year, and has a lot of problems with technique / footwork. Orakpo gave him issues all day and ran right around him when he played Texas.

Played much better tonight, but looks like he's just inexperienced.

Xavier Fulton is a LT going way under the radar.

McShay has him ranked ahead of Monroe and Black which could mean he'll come out this year. He's definitely a round 1 talent.

I have him just behind Black but before Loadholt in the number 5 spot. Late first-early second may be realistic.

I think he's very similar to Ryan Clady as a prospect. He's athletic and one of the top pass blockers in the draft. He's also a solid run blocker who uses power and finesse. I think he might stay in school because OK State will be strong next year with lots of returning talent. But if he declared I could see him ending up being a Top 20 pick.

Anyone see his game vs Oregon? He looked like a top 5 pick

I think because it's already such a strong senior OT class and the fact that Britton has declared already and Andre Smith is a mortal lock to declare that it might be better for him to stay another year.

When did Britton declare?

As for Okung he would be a steal for someone in the latter part of round 1 and could change the thinking of some at the top like Seattle, Detroit and St Louis.

Check the stickied thread at the top of this forum. It has all the declarations so far. It was either yesterday or today.

Okung has flashes and is very good but I don't think he is ready yet.

For me he's a late first / early second this year but could be a Top 10-15 type in 2010.

He'd be in the mix to be the next OT off the board after A. Smith, Monroe, J. Smith and Oher though.

I think he's going to be a top 10 pick in 2010. He's really good and if he can clean up some of the roughness to his game he might be the top tackle in next year's draft.

Really needs to come back. Super raw as a player. Wright's ... right on him flashing talent. But he's super inconsistent and needs a good bit of work.

With Britton coming out it kind of clears the way for Okung going into next year.

how does he compare to duane brown

I'd say somewhere between Brown and Clady, leaning slightly closer to Clady. Stronger than Brown but similar quick feet; strong enough that he's not purely a ZBS prospect like many pegged Brown as.

I really hope Okung declares.

So far, this tackle class is ridiculous. I hope the Bears manage to draft their RT of the future this time around.

If he declares this will be a deeper OT class than last years.

That's a good comparison. Athletic big man that could use a little work on technique to really be an elite LT

And maybe one of the deepest ever. Throw in Duke Robinson and Alex Mack and you have a super O-line crop.

You can add Unger to that list as well.
