Apparently we have offered a 4th round pick for the Snake, but he claims he is going to retire. I'm crossing my finger that he does.

If we don't get him, we might pursue Garcia at about 4-5 million. If we do get him, Oakland might sign Garcia and take CJ. It's basically a lose-lose situation.

Please retire Plummer, I would much rather have our fourth round pick.

Id take Garcia at 2 years $8 - $10 million

We almost signed Garcia 2 years ago I think, so we obviously like him a lot. I really want us to keep our 4th rounder because there's some great undervalued defensive guys we could get there. Miami has their Pro Day tomorrow so Kareem Brown will finally work out and he would be great with that 4th rounder. Garcia is obviously the better option for a few reasons.

Agreed, I like having our 4th rounder so early on day 2. There are always guys that fall through the day 1 cracks.

You can't honestly say Calvin isn't the best prospect in the draft this year. Joe Thomas is great, don't get me wrong, but he isn't even the best prospect in the last 2 years.

CJ is way better. He's big, he runs like guy 8 inches less than him and he has great hands. Thomas is a great prospect, he's great technically but he's not physically dominant. He's strong but not super strong. Both are great, CJ is amazing and a player like him won't come along for years.
