Half our team is out, if they keep it within 17 I'll be impressed.

OUT
Carson Palmer
Antonio Chatman
Eric Henderson
Abdul Hodge
Levi Jones
Scott Kooistra
Chinedum Ndukwe
Antwan Odom
Andrew Whitworth

Simpson is doubtful and JJ is questionable... Yikes.

Not looking good as far as injuries. Jones, Whitworth, AND Kooistra?! Hopefully Anthony Collins can hold his own but its going to be even tougher without a somewhat decent LG next to him. Who would even play in this situation at LG?

I hate to come here and be a dick, but I can only see you guys scoring 3 at the most. I think James Harrison is going to have a huge game and your offense wont stop our defense.

Thing is I don't think you will find a Bengals fan thinking they will somehow pull out a win. To many new people starting to include a practice squad player and rookie on the o-line. Now with Chad out and his depth injured, I can't see TJ being a big factor that much as the double team will focus on him instead of Chad.

All that being said, ALL of the pressure is going to be on the Steelers playing at home in primetime. If this game is even remotely close, I will just laugh. The Steelers should handle this tonight. We will see...

Don't let the Bengals somehow win this !!! Please God Please !!!

I said it before but if this game is even remotely close Pitt should be ashamed. We'd be lucky to make it a game with the offense we've had this year but with much of that gone tonight things do not look well.

Seriously Pittsburgh?! Seriously?!

BTW, Anthony Collins=BAMF.

Is it possible for us to have another injured DE? Odom, Geathers, Rucker, Henderson, and now Fanene?! Christs sake, John Thornton was already playing DE tonight.

All I could do was LOL when I saw that Thornton was playing DE haha.

How was Collins playing? Did he play well?

Collins was flat out unbelievable tonight. No one did a damn thing against him at all and he definitely showed he has what it takes to be a LT in this league. Nate Livings was also pretty surprising at LG.

Collins did play very well tonight, but you have to concider you guys double teaming Harrison pretty much all night.

I think someone has a man crush on James Harrison..

Collins is a ******* man and did much to lessen the worry at LT in my eyes. Not saying it's not a problem position but maybe not to the extent that we all thought..?

I'm pretty sure they did not double team Harrison all night. It's almost impossible to do considering you have Lamarr Woodley on the other side who is a great pass rusher in his own right. You can convince yourself of that all you want if it helps you sleep better at night but the fact of the matter is that Collins pretty much owned him all game long.

They had two guys over Harrison all night. I gave Collins credit didnt I? Yes I did. He did play well no doubt.

They had help for Collins with the TE and RB getting a shot here and there to assist Collins. That being said, it didn't happen every snap. In going back, I would say it didn't happen but once every few snaps if that, so there's that to be happy about. The other thought is that with the complex defense the Steelers run, to not get ANYTHING off Collins and Livings is f*cking amazing !!!

Color me less worried about the OT position. Still a concern, but yeah, less worried...

I think Fitz played well last night. He learned from his mistakes and did not hold onto the ball like he did last game against us. Although he overthrew and underthrew recievers, he played awesome.

We blitzed him like crazy and almost had him, but he had a quick release and got rid of it. I applaud him for his performance.

My thoughts exactly. Does anyone think this means we don't have to take a first round OT? We could certainly pick one up later to add to depth, but seeing as Collins played quite well last night, I just don't think it would be absolutely necessary to take on in the first. Orakpo? :D

I saw him on many occasions matched up 1 on 1 against Harrison without help. The running back does not go out of his way to make sure Harrison is doubled, he goes to where the pressure is coming from for the most part. Saying he was purposely doubled all night is overstating.

Thats what I am thinking. Orakpo in round 1, build up that AMAZING pass rush of ours.

While Collins was encouraging, I liked the pick coming in and figured he could easily start LT in the future... Lets not get too carried away off one game, I mean a top 5 OT would still instantly help our team. I think Andrews needs to move to guard or something, he's just not cutting it. It seemed like all the pressure was coming off Williams/Andrews side, no excuse for that.

We still have the question of what to do at RT. Granted, a RT isn't a top 5 pick but who plays there next year? Maybe move Whitworth out there and sign/draft a LG? Williams isn't getting any younger and Ghiaciuc is still horrible. Our line worries me.

It would be nice if Collins plays out well, dump Levi and Andrews salaries next year. Franchise TJ, go MLB or Orakpo in the first then address Oline in the 2nd and/or 3rd.

Oh yeah and dump Chad Johnson off somewhere.

I would love to see Chad Johnson get dumped off somewhere. I think he still has it, but I just dont think he has it with the Bengals. I think we can still get good value out of him. Everyone is going around saying that he isnt worth a 3rd now. But I am solid he still is worth at least a second if not more. People have to take in account the entire team is freaken injured.

I dont see Andrews being here next year. I honestly think he really doesnt want to be here now and is playing like he doesnt want to be here. I certainly havnt been impressed by him.

Seriously though did anyone think we could get any more injured this season?

That's exactly what I'm saying. LT is definitely still a position of need, but not as much as we may have thought. If we take Orakpo in the 1st, it would give us a huge push in the pass rush, which has been missing practically all season. Then, in the 2nd, we could either go MLB/C/OT and go from there. Free agency is also going to play a huge role in what direction we go this offseason.

LT is probably a need at the moment but if he continues that type of play I would say we don't need to worry about it.

I want to see the consistent effort out of Collins the rest of the way. I liked what I saw, but want to see it continue. I can recall the game against Jacksonville where Guychick got his first start against that massive D-line and everyone was singing his praises to. We know how that has turned out !!!
