If Warner wins MVP this season do u guys think he could go to the hall of fame? He's hasn't had several amazing seasons but when he has preformed well he has been spectacular.

Regardless of this MVP, he should be in Canton. He already has 2 MVPs, a Super Bowl MVP and the second-highest passer rating in NFL HISTORY! He really has always been a model of stability wherever he's gone.

I'd say yeah.. His stats back it up, and he is a good guy with a humble story, being a bag person and all. I think the voters will vote him in.

I think he gets in regardless of what happens this season with the MVP. The fact that he's in contention at 38, speaks volumes to the career he has had.

No doubt, like someone said above^, he doesnt even need this MVP award to get recognition but even if he does win this year, he should be a lock. Whats going to happen to Matt Lienart.. or was it Leinart? He must be pissed.

Model of stability? How many full years has he played?

By far the highest % of games with 300 yards passing, I think he is at like 48% 2nd closest is like 21, probably Marino or Montana'

And one of the most charitable people i have ever seen

HOF for 3 good years, 2 solid years?
If he can have 2 more good/solid years, then I'll jump on. Having 30,000+ yards, 200+ TD's while performing at All Pro level for multiple years, then yes.
He only has 3 Pro Bowls, and 2 All Pro's as well.

Stability might not have been the correct term, but he has performed well on multiple teams in multiple systems, which is much more than most hall of fame players can say.

He's performed well on two teams in two favorable systems. Pass happy systems with established stars/HOFers at the skill positions.

I just don't know if I'd buy this. He had his years with the Rams that were great and now he's looking great now, but Hall of Fame? There has to be more than a couple of us doubting this...

This is basically only the 5th season of his career where he is the starting QB of his team the majority of the season.

He seems really depending on the receiving talent around him, he can bring good teams to higher places but he also fails when the team fails. Overall I dont think he has been steady enough through his career to be honoust.

When Warner has had any success he has easily had the best tandem of WRs in the league at that time. Not to mention Marshall Faulk.

He's had 7 seasons with playing 10 games minimum in this career (including this one), besides that there is a reason why he didnt play all the time. I honoustly think he hasn't got enough good years and that the late age that he came into the league might hurt him in the end for giving him not enough seasons. Allthough you'll be hardpressed to find a HOFer with five truly bad season dead straight in the middle of his career.

Of course he'll get in. and he'll deserve it completely.

If he wins another MVP he is a shoe-in. There is no argument that will keep a quarterback who won three MVPs and a Superbowl MVP out of the HOF.

A Super Bowl ring and 2 MVPs are great, but he ranks

47th in TDs
44th in completions
46th in yards

He had great seasons in 99 an 2001 with a decent 2000. He then dissappeared until 2007. His highest TD count during that stretch was 11. Then last year he came back and is continuing it this season.

He has played just 4 seasons at a high level. Yes he was one of the best in the league during those seasons, but it was just 4 years.

4 Great years
1 decent year
5 bad years

That's not a hall of famer in my opinion. I do like Kurt Warner, but he does not belong in the hall of fame.
