Arkansas junior TE Andrew Davie has oficially declared for the NFL Draft

He'll be 26 next month and is already married with a family. Spent time in minor league baseball. Considered the teams best blocking TE. He caught 8 passes for 71 yards and 3 TDs in 2008.

undrafted!

more than likely unless someone falls in love with his blocking. Seems as if he doesn't really care as he plans to finish his college degree regardless of what happens. Sounds like he didn't want to risk being a 27 year old rookie so figured to try now.

If he is that great of a blocking TE I could see him going in the 7th.

I guess it says something about the Arkansas program if guys burn up their last year of eligibility to take a 0.000001% chance at the NFL early. I thought Bobby Petrino was a nice fun guy.

It seems like Arkansas always has a guy declare for no reason. Last year it was Sean Penix

I'd draft him in the seventh if I was New England and he's really a good blocker.

Poor draft to come out early, but if he was any consistent part of helping McFadden and Jones do what they did last year then I'd have no problem taking someone like him in the seventh, especially with a compensatory pick.
