First-round pick isn't going to happen.

Ted Ginn will go to a team that needs a lot of stuff from him, including his returning abilities. We need a playmaker, but the signing of Dennis Northcutt makes it so all our return-man jobs are taken. Plus, the staff has already said that the team won't be selecting a wide-out in the draft and will be focusing in on defense. I'm 100% certain that either Reggie Nelson or Michael Griffin would be the pick there as of now.

I don't have any problems with Rufus Alexander in the second, but I like Tim Crowder too. Both fit what we need--- quality depth at OLB, and a two-way defensive end.

The team would likely trade up in the third to acquire either Jason Hill or Aundrae Allison or--- my favorite--- Jason Hill. As is, Manny Ramirez would be a good pick, who would be the future starter at RG.

Worst mock ever there is no way Lamarr Woodley falls to the forth round not even the 3 round and to go with that terrible cowboys mock

03-03-2007, 11:52 PM
wtf are u talking about. woodley isnt that good of a de. doesnt have great size or speed and is overated. hes like the 10th de ranked in scotts rankings. how is that a terrible mock for the cowboys? u guys need a big DT that will help on the run, roy williams is pretty much a saftey/lineback so u need a S that can cover and ur guys oline is old and u arnt gettn davis from FA so u need a G

its a decent cowboys draft

03-04-2007, 12:21 AM
kalil and crowder would be better for the bucs

03-04-2007, 12:28 AM
don't like the Packers 2nd or 3rd round picks

03-04-2007, 12:32 AM
its a decent cowboys draft

dont like miami reaching in the 2nd that much

03-04-2007, 03:41 AM
good hawks pick

03-04-2007, 03:54 AM
I think there is a Raider homer here. You have the Raiders ending up getting arguable the best TE, the best C and guy projected around round 2, with the 1st pick in the 4th.

The more i think about it the more i am starting to like gaines adams to clemson

03-04-2007, 08:49 AM
The Meriweather pick is eh, but the rest are pretty bad. No WRs! NO QBs on first day, if at all. the Eagles picks would be as follows though:
Round One: Jarvis Moss
Round Two: John Wendling
Round Three: Anthony Waters

03-04-2007, 10:12 AM
CJ & Houston are good value, but Alford is not and we don't need Piscitelli.

03-04-2007, 10:18 AM
staley in the 2nd then hughes in the 3rd would be great.
Or eric wright in the 2nd. not a big fan of the bradley pick

03-04-2007, 10:19 AM
Unless you expect the Raiders to have 3 picks in Rd2, this draft is kinda corny.

03-04-2007, 10:22 AM
Atlanta would not waste a pick on Jason Hill in the 3rd. especially not with Quentin Moses available.

I really hate this mock.

Horrible draft for the Texans. Levi Brown will not be our 1st round pick, he's not worth the #8 pick, he's not an overly good fit for our blocking scheme, and we don't need an OT that badly. Laron Landry would be the most likely choice given who's available, Branch, Okoye, and Hall would all receive consideration over Levi. McBean is a huge reach in the 2nd round (as are some of your other picks in there), you have him going at least one round higher than he should. Michael Johnson would be an ok pick, but I think our 3rd round pick is a little high for him, there are several players that you have available that would be far better picks, not sure how LaMarr Woodley falls all the way to the 4th round, he'll be gone in the early-mid 2nd.

give the giants ryan harris or manny ramirez and its one of the best 1st day drafts ive seen so far for the giants
