I think Michael Johnson will be a 2nd rounder once the juniors declare. Gerald McCoy... eh, he's between that 12-18 range for me.

And ya can't kill me for Stroughter since I reached for him.

Please forgive me if some of my picks are debateable. If anything i've learned is that you can never really tell who will fall into the 2nd round--even guys with first round grades.. As of right now, this is how I see it. Things will most definately change as people declare early and the Senior Bowl and Combine creep up on us.

QB Josh Freeman, K State (2nd-3rd)

HB CJ Spiller, Clemson (2nd-3rd)
FB Javorski Lane, Texas A&M (midrounder)

LE Everette Brown, FSU (Debateable early 2nd)

Run the **** out of the ball behind that oline with Jennings softening D's up for Shady or Knowshon to torch. Have a QB who'll play tough and smart and have him surrounded with weapons, crabs is a stud number 1, Tate stretches the field and is a playmaker while Coffman could turn out to be a rich man's Dallas Clark.

Defensively we'll attack, attack and attack some more. The secondary will play a lot of bump n run but the zone blitz will play a significant role in this defense as well. A lot of rotation and moving people around. Rak and Hardy will each see snaps were they're standing up just like Spikes will see snaps standing on the line and Clay and TJ will both also see snaps at DE.

There you go...3 top tens, 4 middle to first rounders, 10 2nd-3rd rounders, 5 mid rounders, and 3 late rounders all making a defensive powerhouse.

This draft has too much serious talent in the first and second for this to be hard.

the hard thing to determine is

who are the top ten players from all draft eligible players? who are the top 32 etc?

there are alot more players whose talent should go higher, but there just aren't enough slots.

is there a list of players for each category? if not it is up to each person's perception; naturally this will differ substantially

The only one that's really debatable of mine is Michael Johnson, and I do think he could fall to the second once the jr's declare.
