I remember last year when he played for Penn State. He was their best defensive lineman last year. I think he made a smart move declaring for the draft. Top 5 DT? I would have him 5th after Peria Jerry, BJ Raji, Ziggy Hood, and Fili Moala.

Seems like there have been lots of Hampton players in recent years.

Hampton usually gets a lot of transfers. They got Jackie Bates from Oregon, Jeremy Gilchrist from Virginia Tech, and Chris Baker from Penn State. All three of those guys are good draft prospects.

Ummm. Sen'Derrick Marks is better than all of them except for Raji. I'd say Baker would be behind all of those guys as well as Vance Walker of Georgia Tech.

I think he's a 4th rounder when all is said and done.

He has a chance to go as early as round two.

He can be a 4-3 DT or a 3-4 DE.

He is more talented than Kendall Langford, who just had a nice rookie year.

He certainly has the talent, but I wouldn't say he was dominant at PSU.

4th round sounds about right, considering the off-fied issues.

Like I said in a different thread, if he interviews well with teams, I could see him potentially being a 2nd rounder. He could be a real good UT, IMO.

Odrick was better than Baker last year, Baker is a moron.

Marks is overrated, especially on these boards. Short, light, disappears for stretches and can be an absolute sieve against the run. He cannot hold his gap.

Supposedly Walker's stock has also fallen as of late. Although I still love him as a prospect.
