Any word? I think these two have to declare but I haven't heard anything. I did see today that McCoy is coming back to school.

There's no reason for them not to IMO.

I agree. I just haven't heard anything about either one. I figured we'd know more after their bowl games...

I go to UGA, live 2 miles off campus, check the sports news regularly and still have not heard word on whether Moreno will declare. I believe he will because he's a RB who is likely to be a first day pick, but haven't heard any rumors or anything.

The local newspaper in Athens just announced that Stafford and Moreno will announce their decision tomorrow.

I fail to see what Chris Wells or Knowshon Moreno would gain from another year of college footballwise. Both seem to have developed as much as they are going to on that level

I agree. I hope we see them in the NFL in 2009.

I think it's a no brainer for both players they have nothing to gain from another year of college. They are both 1st round picks at short term position.

I feel that one of them wont for some reason.

I'm pretty sure both of them will.

Just read on the ESPN crawler Moreno and Stafford are expected to declare today. Nothing on Wells though.

Wells could stay back and prove he can stay healthy for a full season which will make scouts not question his health.

Wells could stay back and prove he can stay healthy for a full season which will make scouts not question his health.

That's probably the only thing he's got to prove, though. I think it'd be a mistake to do so though considering he could get seriously hurt (ala Michael Bush) where if he comes out now he's still a first round pick, and probably even a top 15 pick still, even with the questions about his health.

I think they'll both come out, and between the two of them I still prefer Moreno.

Or he could end up injured again and further hurt his draft stock. I can't see any reason while he would stay.

Word is that Wells is gone, though it's not official yet.

Stafford, Moreno, and Wells should all declare imo.

McCoy, while I am an advocate of RBs leaving early, I think might be better off staying one more year. So he can be a Top 15 pick next year.

Any thoughts on DeMarco Murray? I just saw that he was waiting to hear back on his grade from the NFL board. I thought he was for sure coming back to school but if he's waiting no a grade it means he's at least thinking about it....
