I did two years ago until I realized, "oh crap, I have another four years of college to go. ****."
sigh. Almost half way done with my sophomore year in college though! Yeah!
Oh but then I have to pay off college loans for the next ten years. ****.
I had it bad last year, it was fun.
Actually I'm so glad I'm passed that haha.

If I wasn't so tired and distracted on writing an essay on Congress and the media, i'd have an excellent comeback...BUT since I don't:

Yeah, I have finals coming up and have the "who cares" attitude now...but I found out I have to rock them because one of my top colleges may give me more money if I do really well this semester.
I think the cure is to take really easy classes, thats what Im doing second semester lol

Poor Scotty. Way to take an AP Government class! I took an couple AP classes my senior year and immediately regretted doing it. Mainly due to laziness, but primarily because in a lot of ways it's supposed to prepare you for college level classes which I didn't really think it did.
At least the Nets winning can cheer you up!

yes but if you get the AP credit you won't have to take some college classes so that is a plus more frat parties and sex! WOOOT! Of course my school is full of science nerds so I can only imagine ... :-(

yea taking AP Gov and AP Lit were NOT my best ideas...
the Nets winning and RU coming close to Marquette was nice. What sucked is that ******* Najera plays. and plays ALOT too. that infuriated me. AND Sean Williams isn't in the 2k9 updates which KILLS me. dammit.

Oh man....good times, lol.
I only had to go to school half days when I was a senior (I was ahead on credits so I got to leave early and go work at my job) and I STILL missed 29 days, lol.
And those 29 aren't counting days I left even earlier than I was supposed to.....being able to forge your dad's name is sweet!
edit-I too had an AP class. Got an A in AP History and got a 4 on the test. Was the only AP I wanted to go anywhere near though......I hate math....

I was super lazy especially after football season, our coaches just gave us the class off after the season. So i had 1st and last period off, school 3 hours a day and mostly blow off classes too. Then second semester came, i probably signed out to leave early at least once a week. Good times.

I'm done with high school. Not literally done, but mentally done. I had to try the first semester to make sure I got into the college I wanted, but now I just have to pass all my classes and I'm outta here.

I had it all four years of high school to the point where I was so good at it I actually got good grades as a senior. My ability to slack and still do alright has served me quite well in college.

I remember senioritis. I pretty much 'cut/skipped' whenever and saw no consequences for it. Also helped that I copied homework and cheated on tests. Thats what everyone did in high school, right?

Pretty much. Already this year, I've had a couple days where I went to only one or two classes... and they were blowoffs anyway.

some schools require it for scholarships or even to get in, plus a lot of them arent really that bad.....I'm mean u will have some extra work, but I found AP gov. really easy.

eh, my parents both work in the government and I thought it'd be good. i was forced to take AP lit by my parents and it was the only way to not take a science(science is my main weakness...)
that and harder classes was a good way to ensure I got into Rutgers apparently...

Scottyboy I dont mean to seem ruid but what makes you so excited to go to Rutgers? I know you love their football team but I was always sort of curious of your love affair with the university. Its not as if its a top tier school, or well renowned as a particularly fun school, so i just wanted to know if i was missing something.

AP classes were the only reason I found high school evenly remotely interesting. At the risk of sounding like an elitist d-bag, the conversations were remotely intersting and actually made high school worth it. I ended up graduating with 34 AP credits and I feel like I made the most of my high school experience for it, though I blew it in college...

actually, academically it is considered one of the better schools on the east coast(non-ivy's of course...)
and trust me, living less than an hour away, it's one of the best kept party school secrets.
PLUS, they've got a good sports management program which is my first choice major and pretty good teaching and criminal justice departments, which are my backup plans...
