Ok, so I'm going to do my social labor for three weeks from January the 10th to the 30th, I'm going to be in this really poor area with no TVs, no Cable, nothing. I am taking a radio with shortwave though, permitting me to listen to playoffs, that is if I learn how to use it.
So if anyone could tell me how to use it, and how to get transmissions from the US AND which stations may bring the games, it'd be appreciated.
+rep of course
All of the playoff games will be broadcast on Westwood One (http://www.westwoodone.com/site).
You can use this station finder (http://www.westwoodone.com/stationfinder) to pin down the station wherever you may be.
Hope that helps some!

Would that work here in Panama though? Remember I'm not in the US

If u can find a place with internet u can actually watch the game (there should be streams)........I know Panama is probably rough, but there should be an internet cafe somewhere, even if its a piece of crap.

The city has everything. Where I am going has literally nothing. Maybe some electricity.
What about XM/Sirius radio? Do they have service down there?

Your best shot is going to be first learning how to use said radio and then just tinkering with it to find a signal.
