Round One
1. Detroit Lions - QB Matt Stafford, Georgia - The Lions have issues everywhere but a franchise quarterback is the biggest need.

2. St. Louis Rams - OT Andre Smith, Alabama - Stud lineman could start at guard and take over at left tackle once Pace calls it quits.

3. Kansas City Chiefs - DE Brian Orakpo, Texas - The Chiefs pass rush has been pathetic this season. I have them passing on Bradford because I believe Thigpen did a damn good job considering it was his first year as a starter.

4. Seattle Seahawks - QB Sam Bradford, Oklahoma - Hasselbeck is going to be done really really soon so they need to start developing his replacement. Bradford is a great fit in the WCO and could use the extra year to develop behind Hasselbeck.

5. Cleveland Browns - CB Malcom Jenkins, Ohio State - The Browns could use an elite talent like Jenkins in the secondary.

6. Cincinnati Bengals - OLB Aaron Curry, Wake Forest - Stud linebacker will start week one at strong side linebacker.

7. Oakland Raiders - WR Michael Crabtree, Texas Tech - Al Davis loves to draft skill positions. Crabtree gives the Russell a legit number one receiver for the first time in his career.

8. Jacksonville Jaguars - OT Eugene Monroe, Virginia - Khalif Barnes is a free agent and can definitely be improved on. Monroe has all the tools to be a franchise left tackle.

9. Green Bay Packers - OT Jason Smith, Baylor - The smallish athletic Smith is a perfect fit in the Packers zone blocking scheme.

10. San Franciso 49ers - S Taylor Mays, Southern Cal - Mays takes over for the terrible Mark Roman and provides the physical presence that Singletary likes.

11. Buffalo Bills - DE Aaron Maybin, Penn State - The Bills starting ends combined for 3 sacks. Maybin has a ton of potential and will at least be a beast 3rd down pass rusher.

12. Denver Broncos - RB Chris Wells, Ohio State - With Shanahan gone you figure they will try and get a franchise back for the first time in ages. With Mays gone and no linebacker worth the pick they go with by far the BPA.

13. Washington Redskins - OT Michael Oher, Mississippi - The Redskins starting tackles are aging so Oher can eventually replace either one. He can start immediately in place of Kendall and be groomed at tackle.

14. New Orleans Saints - DT B.J. Raji, Boston College - I understand all Saints fans believe they will be trading the pick, but I don't do trades. Raji teams up with Ellis to form a great young interior line.

15. Houston Texans - WR Jeremy Maclin, Missouri - Andre Johnson can't catch 12 balls every game, and Maclin is the BPA. Maclin + Johnson = Holy ****!

16. San Diego Chargers - ILB Rey Maualuga, Southern Cal - Best inside linebacker in the draft adds a killer instinct to a defense that has struggled at times to be physical.

17. New York Jets - CB Vontae Davis, Illinois - Revis is a shut down corner but everyone else at the position has been pretty terrible.

18. Chicago Bears - DE Everette Brown, Florida State - The Bears pass rush was uncharactistically bad this season.

19. Tampa Bay Buccaneers - DE Greg Hardy, Mississipi - If not for injuries Hardy would probably have been a top 5 pick this season. I have him as the BPA and a good fit to team up with Adams.

20. Detroit Lions (from Dallas) - ILB Brandon Spikes, Florida - Drafting Dizon to play middle linebacker was an epic fail.

21. Arizona Cardinals - RB Knowshon Moreno, Georgia - Hightower cannot get the job done as a full time back and James is probably gone.

22. Philadelphia Eagles - OT Trent Williams, Oklahoma - Stud tackle to take over for one of the starters that are free agents.

23. Minnesota Vikings - QB Josh Freeman, Kansas State - Jackson will never be the full time starter and Freeman has tons of ability.

24. New England Patriots - CB Alphonso Smith, Wake Forest - Great cover corner and physical player who is a perfect fit on their defense.

25. Atlanta Falcons - TE Jermaine Gresham, Oklahoma - Easily the best tight end in the draft. Think of how good Ryan will be with a safety valve/red zone threat like Gresham.

26. Miami Dolphins - OLB Clint Sintim, Virginia - Gives the Dolphins another pass rushing threat other than Porter.

27. Baltimore Ravens - WR Darius Heyward-Bey, Maryland - Deep threat for Flacco's cannon arm.

28. Indianapolis Colts - DT Sen'Derrick Marks, Auburn - Arguably the best tackle in college football before he was injured this season. Great fit in the Tampa 2.

29. Pittsburgh Steelers - OT Eben Britton, Arizona - Not your typical Steelers lineman who is huge and a better run blocker than pass blocker. Britton won't destroy people but he will lengthen Big Ben's career by a few years.

30. New York Giants - DE Michael Johnson, Georgia Tech - Freak athlete who is exactly the type of player the Giants covet on defense.

31. Tennessee Titans - WR Percy Harvin, Florida - Harvin's speed and ability to run the ball make him a great fit in the Titans offense.

32. Philadelphia Eagles (from Carolina) - S William Moore, Missouri - Moore had a pretty bad senior season but he has the ability to be a good replacement for Dawkins.

Round Two
33. Detroit Lions - C Alex Mack, California - Mack is a tremendous player who is an upgrade at any of the 3 interior positions.

34. St. Louis Rams - CB D.J. Moore, Vanderbilt - The Rams corners have been really bad this season.

35. Kansas City Chiefs - ILB James Laurinaits, Ohio State - Pat Thomas was garbage this season.

36. Seattle Seahawks - WR Kenny Britt, Rutgers - Big, talented new target for Bradford.

37. Cleveland Browns - OLB Brian Cushing, Southern Cal - Could play any linebacker position in the 3-4.

38. Cincinnati Bengals - C Max Unger, Oregon - The Bengals haven't had a decent center in a while. His intelligence and run blocking ability make this a no brainer pick.

39. Oakland Raiders - OT William Beatty, Connecticut - Kwame Harris is the worst left tackle in NFL history and Henderson is a better fit on the right side.

40. Jacksonville Jaguars - CB Trevard Lindley, Kentucky - I have Lindley as the BPA and he would at least be a great nickel for the Jags.

41. Green Bay Packers - DE Tyson Jackson, Louisiana State - I'm not as high on Jackson as a lot of people are but I think the Packers won't pass on his versatility.

42. San Franciso 49ers - OT Phil Loadholt, Oklahoma - Monster right tackle fills a huge need on the Niners line.

43. Buffalo Bills - TE Jared Cook, South Carolina - Excellent size and freak athletic ability make him a dangerous receiver.

44. Denver Broncos - DT Peria Jerry, Mississippi - Athletic under tackle is a good fit in the cover 2.

45. Miami Dolphins (from Redskins) - CB Darius Butler, Connecticut - As improved as the Dolphins were their corners still struggled quite a bit.

46. New York Giants (from Saints) - OT Jamon Meridith, South Carolina - Extremely versatile lineman could play just about every position on the line.

47. Houston Texans - S Rashad Johnson, Alabama - The Texans secondary struggled mightily this season.

48. New England Patriots - OLB Clay Matthews, Southern Cal - Matthews could play any of the 4 linebacker spots.

49. New York Jets - WR Brandon LaFell, Louisiana State - Dangerous receiver is groomed to take over for the always injured Coles.

50. Chicago Bears - OG Duke Robinson, Oklahoma - Monster run blocker drastically improves the interior line.

51. Tampa Bay Buccaneers - RB C.J. Spiller, Clemson - I can't see Cadillac coming back and Dunn is ancient. Spiller teams up with Graham to form a formidable duo.

52. Dallas Cowboys - S Louis Delmas, Western Michigan - The Cowboys safeties have not played well this season.

53. Arizona Cardinals - OT Troy Kropog, Tulane - Gandy is a free agent and Kropog is the BPA.

54. Philadelphia Eagles - TE Brandon Pettigrew, Oklahoma State - One of BPA and fills a need.

55. Minnesota Vikings - C Jonathan Luigs, Arkansas - Birk is a free agent and I don't think Sullivan has the ability to be a good starter.

56. New England Patriots - RB Donald Brown, Connecticut - Maroney has bee a disappointment and most of their other backs are over 30.

57. Atlanta Falcons - S Patrick Chung, Oregon - Strong safety to take over for free agent Milloy.

58. Miami Dolphins - WR Hakeem Nicks, North Carolina - Big receiver would be a good compliment to Ginn.

59. Baltimore Ravens - CB Macho Harris, Virginia Tech - Physical corner is a good fit and fills a need for the Ravens.

60. Indianapolis Colts - RB Rashad Jennings, Liberty - The Colts running game was terrible this season.

61. Pittsburgh Steelers - OLB Larry English, Northern Illinois - English is an excellent pass rusher and good fit in the 3-4.

62. New York Giants - TE Chase Coffman, Missouri - Stud tight end to split time with Boss.

63. Tennessee Titans - CB Captain Munnerlyn, South Carolina - The Titans have a couple free agents at corner.

64. Carolina Panthers - QB Rhett Bomar, Sam Houston State - Delhomme is old and they don't have a capable young player on the roster.

not to eager on raji. Our DLine is pretty solid although i must admit if we would take a guy on the dline it would be a nose tackle

Not a bad Ravens mock. Not bad at all, but I'd rather have Mike Mickens in the second round rather than Harris. Macho can provide some return ability though...

I dont think RB is even a consideration for the Patriots. I would go Clint Sintim, Louis Delmas and Mike Mickens in that scenario

Orakpo and Laurinitis? I'll take that for sure. Great KC mock.

I'll take that draft if Cable sticks around he could potentially work his magic with Beatty and turn him into a top notch ZBS LT.

24. New England Patriots - CB Alphonso Smith, Wake Forest

48. New England Patriots - OLB Clay Matthews, Southern Cal

56. New England Patriots - RB Donald Brown, Connecticut

Smith is a great pick, corner is our top need and he is an ideal fit for our defense.

Clay Matthews is solid with our early second rounder, but there are some other intriguing options there as well like Delmas or Pettigrew.

Donald Brown is questionable. Running back really isn't a big need, we have plenty of capable backs. If it were a guy like Spiller, McCoy, or Moreno I would be OK with it because if we take a back it needs to be a guy who can hit the home run and contribute a lot in the passing game since Faulk is aging. Macho Harris or Patrick Chung are both available and they would be great picks.

I do not view RB as a round 1 need...so beanie is not needed. Raji would be better.

I love you. That would be the best Chicago draft possible.

If the draft played out like that, I'd rather take Jerry in the second round. Perfect first pick.

1. Eugene Monroe LT
2. Peria Jerry DT

I love the Steelers draft. Britton would be excellant to protect Ben's blindside and English could be the next great Steeler OLB.

Bad pick for the Colts in the 1st. They could possibly get a DT like Marks or Evander Hood in the 2nd round. So give them the best player available which is MLB James Laurenaitus.

39. Oakland Raiders - OT William Beatty, Connecticut - Kwame Harris is the worst left tackle in NFL history and Henderson is a better fit on the right side.

Henderson is a terrible fit on the right side. He can't run block. At all.

decent patriots draft. not sure if theyd use a second on a RB when we have many runningbacks who could do the job

I would do a backflip off my couch if the Niners landed Mays and Loadholt!!! To add to your Mays comment i also think having him play center field allows Lewis to do what he does great and blitz like he did in Philly, which makes the niners so-so pash rush better. So it helps on two levels.

Smith is an excellent pick but I don't like Tyson Jackson for the Packers. A true speed rusher like Larry English or a sraight up DT like Peria Jerry would be better.

I love the idea of having two quick lbs with Spikes, allowing the Lions to sure up a shaky run def. I have no problem with the Mack pick, he would be a vast improvement at guard. Only scenario according to your mock I may like better is picking up Britton then Laurinaitis. Then moving Backus to guard, possibly improving two positions with one pick.

Although QB is not my favorite pickup with the 1st pick, I feel that is where the Lions will ultimately end up going. I fear Stafford would be put into a similar situation as Harrington, and we all know how that ended. I'd prefer if the Lions used this draft to improve both lines, or go a BPA(minus WR) route with all the holes. Then look at McCoy or Sanchez(barring he does not declare this year) with the top pick in next year's draft.

i like the eagles picks but i would much rather have Gresham or Britton with the first pick and then go from there.

VERY Nice Miami draft!!
