Ladies and Gentlemen, I am proud to present the first annual Canuck Awards nominations. The precursor to the Commies (similar to the Globes and the Oscars), the Canuck Awards are being brought to you by myself, with a special thanks to Fisch for assisting with nominees and selecting the winners. Check mine and commie's film blog (in my sig) for the full list of categories and nominees. Tune in on January 15th for the full list of winners and why!

But Fincher did fight club, and he will probably want to make a few fight club references and pretend he is tyler durden. Fincher winning is the perfect opportunity to do so.

I dont find that to be that far off. I would prolly give it a B. Acting directing, all fantastic, I just didnt care for how depressing it was. I get the point, it's just I like a little bit of happiness in a movie.

well, it is based off a novel...Richard Yates isnt the happiest author I have ever read. Read the novel first, then come back and tell me its supposed to be happy. It isnt. Thats the entire point of the movie. Rev. Road the novel was called the great gatsby of our time, and I totally agree.

Right as said below, I wasnt attacking just the movie, the story line was just very depressing. Never once thro the film did I feel anything good was going to work out. The ending truly got me thinking about a on again off again relationship I have with this girl, and it really made me think that even if i could get it into the future, would I really want it? It was a good one watch for me, just not my cup of tea.
