Any ruggers in here? I play and watch my self. Anyone else play? watch?

I play in the off season to stay in shape. You would think being a offensive tackle on the gridiron would translate to being a front line or even second row but I play No. 8.

I'd like to here of anyone else on the pitch.

Yep, being English I played in school as well but again not big enough to play at Uni or whatever. Still follow it though, watch the internationals etc.

Jakey you are an enigma...you are like, the most emo mother******* I have ever laid eyes on, yet you are always so cheerful! All the emo kids I know are morose and depressed. And you have a big smiley face as your avy and put exclamations and happy faces in every post.

If by watching Rugby you mean occasionally glance over at the kids practicing on campus while I'm walking to and fro class, then yes, I watch rugby.

Yeah I'm about the same size. Started when I got to college and have only been playing for 3 years now. Still, summer tournaments and post games are a blast. Started at wing and am now mainly a fullback.

I just wish it was a little bigger here in the U.S.

I am a 4 year starter on my high school team(2of them on junior varsity though lol). I play any forward position, but I mainly play prop although I play a lot of 8 because we have no backups

I play blindside flanker for the 1st colts team at Manly Rugby Football Club. Get paid (not much, i'm nothing special) to play my favourite sport so it's a pretty sweet deal really. Last year of eligibility for colts (under 21s) coming up this season so i'm lookin to step into the senior ranks with a big fat premiership.

I played 1 year of flanker but it was too hard to play football and rugby at the same time, driving from rugby games to football practices.

I'd play again this year but I've had too many concussions.

I know someone that plays. Apparently rugby players pull some good tail in. Atleast they do at Boston U

I've been playing for 6 years now at Number 8 and Blind side Flanker. I'm 6'4" 275 lbs. There's no HS teams around here so I play club with guys twice my age. We just finished our preseason and Southern Cal Rugby League is starting off with Belmont Shore (pretty prestigous club in Cali aside from OMBAC).

I watch any code really. 15s, 7s, Union, League, etc. I'll be attending the USA Sevens in San Diego in Febuary.. anyone else? lol

Wow, small world ay Jakey lol, I don't live that far from there.

Played Rugby a little bit at school but no so much now at Uni, prefer to focus on playing American Football (first year). :D

Tend to watch the internationals if England are on but that's about it.

And I don't have the slightest idea why they call themselves that either.

I played when I was a freshman at Sam Houston State. It was pretty brutal being 5'9" 160 but one of my closest friends plays on the OU team. He's pretty good.

I would play, but I'm wayyy too small.
I'm 5'10", 140 lbs. I go to the gym and I'm always eating healthy foods with protein, but I dont get any bigger.

Yeah it doesn't take long to get to Cov, 30 mins or so.

I play for the Birmingham Bulls, usually train at Moor Lane, near Perry Barr if you know that.
