-Cash
-Debit Card
-Credit Card

I used to use Cash a lot but i now am going to use Debit more with some cash as a backup. Don't like carrying around bills or receiving something like $0.83 in change which kills my wallet and is pretty annoying.

Straight cash homey.

Nah, seriously, i'd prefer to use debit. You can't use it everywhere, therefore you can spend less.

I put every dime of mine into my checking account and use my debit alot. I usually carry about 50 bucks in cash at all times just to have it for whatever reason.

Debit card 24/7.

I only use credit card when buying something expensive or opening tabs.

I like using cash but since I never go to the bank or ATM, I use debit most of the time.

I live in San Francisco, where almost no one takes plastic.

Even beyond that, I get into trouble quickly if I don't keep an eye on my balance, and cash helps me do that.

Not that I like it, but basically all I use is credit. If I'm just going to the grocery store to pick up something small I might debit it, but I rarely have any cash on me ever, except for a bunch of quarters in my car for when I cross the toll road, although now it's so expensive coins take forever. I should just get a damn Ez Pass since I pass through the toll road 5 times a week, but whatever they pay me monthly for toll fee's. My company pays me 20 bucks daily for parking in the garage but I got my Latino buddy working the parking decks for delivery's and I just give him 10 bucks every day and he lets me park my car in the loading dock where he watches it all day. So hey that's 10 bucks a day I get, 50 for a week. 200 for a month.

I thought like hell trying to turn that into a *** joke, but I came up with nothing.. :/

Anyways, I am a waiter, so I usually have cash.

I'm the opposite. They charge extra for using a debit/credit card here. Like 8 cents a gallon.

Eh, they do it here too. It's usually like 5 cents. I don't worry much about that. Especially now when it's about 5 degrees outside. No need to go in the gas station.

See, Cook County (where Chicago is located) rapes you enough on taxes, that they don't care about charging extra for using a card.

That right there probably costs you more to begin with.

How much did you pay when you last filled up? I paid $1.94 today.

That's more in line with what Michigan has been the past month or so. It only jumped to $1.94 here once I needed to fill up.

I like cash being a bartender and a scientist (much like the billionare cowboy astronaut) I deal in cash much more than anything else. Cash is easier and when I see less in my wallet I spend less till it is empty then I refill it. So checks go in the bank tips stay at home. That way I'm generally spending unexpected income which kicks @$$

I use credit cards because I am pretty good at not overspending and I have a joint account with my family that allows us to rack up free flier miles. I fly home a lot on weekends and breaks in school so that becomes handy. Plus you have less liability in a credit card because there are more security options if you happen to lose your credit card rather than a debit card. I pay the bill really quickly so its also easier to build a good credit line.

I dont have a credit card and im too lazy to withdraw cash so I don't spend money because I always lose my debit. Its for the better. I've never made a wise purchase in my life. It all gets spent on food and stuff thats illegal and/or bad for my health.
