Have a question about this girl i like. I've talked about her a bit before here. Anyways she pretty much totally ignores me in class and tutorial today. Feels like she's been kind of ignoring me for a little while. I've only known her since October so we're not super close. I don't know whether to think she's playing hard to get (we did hang out for half an hour last week after class) or if she simply doesn't want to talk to me that much anymore.

Anyone have any experience in this situation, and any advice on how to proceed? I'm generally very insecure and hesitant but at this point i'm close to saying **** it, and just make a move. Just so i can know either way.

I think i'll ask her to an event thats going on in school next week, either on FB or texting her. Just as friends. If our conversation is going well (and they usually tend to go well, she puts an effort to make and continue conversation unlike other girls i know) i might ask her on a date then (but i wouldnt use that word officially).

Why not just ask her on a date up front? Just be clear with your intentions. If she says no, you at least know where you stand and can move on. If she says yes, then great, you have a date and you didn't pusssyfoot around first.

Wanted to do it in person...and we only have 1 class together. Furthermore our schedules are different besides the one class (she's day classes, im night class) and she doesn't live near me. Its never a guarantee we talk in class either so i wanted to make sure we could actually talk which is why i wanted to set something up.

One thing I forgot to mention in here...while I was pursuing that girl before. I had so many girls after me during this. It's like they could tell I was in "crush" with some girl. Lol, I have a few years experience managing customer service. Victoria's Secret chicks tend to frankly be better and more attentive than most other stores. Its more of an actual approachable "boutique" style place with helpfulness instead of the more common "Can I help you(please say no so I can go back to staring at the wall)" types. I literally don't pay attention at all to lingerie on chicks, but if I had to buy some, I would go there. They will literally answer every question, find stuff you didn't think of, and give you a little bag/basket to put stuff in without being asked. Well trained, at least in Kzoo.

So, in the last few days, things have been weird. That chick I mentioned a few pages back, that works at another school, called me up last Friday and wanted to see if I would meet up with her and her friends at a bar because they were celebrating her birthday (she asked like, "so what are the chances of me running into you tonight?") to which I acted like I wasn't sure if would do so. Well, the girl who works at other school is, at least in my opinion, better looking than the religious one (I love girls who are really cute), and I don't feel as though I am wasting my time with her, so she is the one I am giving a **** about.

My only concern, because I am a pessimist, is that the teacher girl isn't into me anymore; who knows what her friends thought of me last Friday. Just make sure that she's putting in the same amount of effort that you are. I met my gf online, waited a year, then left everything and moved to Michigan to be with her. I put all the effort into making it happen, and after 2 years things blew up. We've now been together for 7 years, but probably only loved each other for half that. I'd say that the only thing that matters is people's devotion to each other and the fact that they will put effort into making it work. Try not to end up "still working things out" after 7 years. She still doesn't even know what pizza I like or what groceries to get me. Make sure she feels something for you and isn't just using you for your house and stability. Make sure that her heart is into you and that you're not just the "logical" choice.

I think infatuation can happen at any age. Maybe you're more susceptible to it in your teens or early 20s but I've seen too many people in their 40s still making the same dumb mistakes.

I don't necessarily disagree with the notion that these younger guys should stay free, but if they feel like they'd get more fulfillment from being in an exclusive relationship, let them be. Soon enough they will learn on their own where they can maximize their happiness; single, or with a girlfriend. What's up guys, haven't posted on the message board in what feels like a couple years. What brings me back is the need of some relationship advice. I'm currently in a pretty weird place. I'm not really sure where to begin..

Well I have a girlfriend we have been dating for 2 years this coming June. Our relationship has been great, we truly are best friends. We both come from the same group of friends and that's how we met. We have great chemistry, I consider myself as the witty one liner type of funny but I can make her laugh all day, and she can make me laugh. She's pretty hot, sex is great. I'm in love with her family, her pet dogs, her personality, she's really a catch.

Welp we almost broke up last fall. She goes to a SUNY school it's about 40 minutes from the CC I attend. Me and a buddy went down to her school to party for a night. Well I was at a party and she said she would come down to it. Later in the night she said she was going to the bars with her friends. I was drunk, got all pissed off, that she couldn't spare one night from her college friends to hangout with me (this exploded because she was ignoring me for a couple weeks beforehand). This is just about the only true fight that weve had.

Well as for this spring semester, she is studying abroad in Costa Rica. As you could imagine.. it ******* sucks. It'd hard for us to communicate, wifi is needed and whatnot.. its not easy. Here is the part where I feel like a real scumbag. Really do. I have been browsing/snooping around on her facebook. I don't believe she knows I know her password. Don't judge me too harshly for this. I felt like I needed to be in her life somehow so I did it. And I read some messages that sort of rattled me. She's become best friends with this kid who is studying abroad down there as well. Literally everyday they message each other about hanging out later at the bar/ what they're doing this weekend. Now most times another friend or 2 are involved in the plans. But still, it sucked to read that ****. One drunken message she said like 5 times, your house is so nice.. im crashing there from now on. In the context that she meant it, she was just complementing his house, she isn't really gonna crash there..or so I think?

On top of the facebook **** I just talked about.. a part of me feels like she is changing. Shes obsessed with this skrillex/dayglow theme phase, which I find ****** stupid. She got dreads.. yes dreads.. on a 20 year old white girl. They suck, they look stupid, and they're gross. No offense if you happen to have dreads..hopefully they work for you, but they don't on her. What you're going through sucks. I won't go so far as to say "if you snoop you can't be together EVAR," because the balance of trust isn't always completely intact within a relationship.

You're both very young, you're growing into different people (and you don't even particularly like who she's growing into). Sucks, but that's part of growing up, and staying together at this point isn't fair to either of you right now.
