This is a perfect example of how drug companies just dictate health care. Most drugs take years to even get FDA approved. Gardisil (the HPV vaccine) was approved almost immediately, AND is the only vaccine with mandated insurance coverage for people over 18. Might not seem like a big deal, but, for a guy working in the health care industry, it's mind blowing.

How are you denying them that right? They're free to do so at their own risk. Being sexually active does not mean you automatically are going to develop cervical cancer from HPV. It's the same risk you take of getting any other STD. Ultimately it's your choice. No one is denying you anything.

Yes. Girlfriends in the HS/College range just aren't good IMO. I'm glad I realized early on to just "get with" girls instead of wasting far too much time on the ******** stuff that comes along with them at that age. Of course, there are always some exceptions though, but those are usually the girls I'd take my time gaging before I go that far.

It's been three and a half years now...we have issues at times (mostly because I'm lazy and she resents it) and want to go down paths that will conflict but we'll either make it work or not and it will absolutely have been worth my while. I really just decided to do it out of the blue. It is our last semester in school and I am working 20 hours and taking 19 credits, so I will be busy this semester and might get frustrated at times. About the friend zone/ladder theory thing. The ladder theory is a gross simplification of human interaction. Don't pay attention to it. That being said, if you are starting to like a girl you are friends with, JUST TELL HER. If she says she wants to just be friends, or she doesn't want to ruin what you have. Give it up. No coming back from that. If you are infatuated with her, you will need to cut out contact with her. If it is just a crush and you can be actual friends, then go ahead and stay friends. But don't stay friends with the hope of hooking up sometime, it just won't happen. Stay friends if you enjoy her company as friends.
