Ainge will most likely be around 95-96

Charles will have great speed, agil, acc but his btk will only be around 85 so he won't be at 99 either.

Also don't be suprised if Darren Mcfadden and Steve Slaton are all rated over Hart in the game.

I want to see where EA will put Everson Griffens speed at.

Darren McFadden will be 98 overall
Steve Slaton will be 97 overall
Brain Brohm will be 97 overall

Calais Campbell will be 96. Kenny Phillips will be about the same. Javarris James will be about 88. Kyle Wright will be about 0, and Kirby Freeman will be 1.

Those 4 guys Dave listed aren't even close to the guys who will probably be top-rated. Jamaal Charles???

These are players that I think will be rated at 99 overall.

Jamaal Charles RB, UT
Erik Ainge QB, Tennesse
Mike Hart RB, Michigan
Chad Henne QB, Michigan

All I can think of right now.

theres no way Henne is rated a 99 overall...he's not even the top QB let alone a 99...I would bet he's somewhere 92-95...and none of those will be 99 overall seeing as none will be the top at their position with the exception of hart who will be at most a 98

QB
1. Brian Brohm 94
1. Chad Henne 94

read above...Brohm will be the top rated QB but I don't see him being a 99...maybe 97-98 but definately higher than Henne

5. Steve Slaton 91

slaton will be atleast a 95...top 3 will be mcfadden hart slaton all between 94-98 but idk what order...i think mcfadden 97 hart 95-96 slaton 95

also...I think the highest rated incoming freshmen will be AT MOST an 88-89 if they are generous...most likely mcknight or griffin...because if you look at past games and even how recruiting is in the game the top recruits are rarely above 88s

moc182
03-04-2007, 09:24 PM
McKnight will be the highest rated Freshman, they use ESPN's rankings and he was their number one player.

who do you think USC's "impact players" will be in the game? on offense, i think it is clear it will be John David Booty, but who do you think the other guy will be? i have a hunch it will be Chauncey Washington

on defense im think Rey Malauga and maybe Taylor Mays or Brian Cushing

I'd guess JDB, Maualuga, and probably Lawrence Jackson even though he doesn't really deserve it.

I don't even know who ND's will be, the cupboard is pretty bare with upper classmen. Probably Zib, Crum, and Carlson or something like that.

considering theres only 3 impact players on a team...so theres only 2 more besides JDB that can be impact not 1 more on O and 2 on D...1 + 2 = 3 impact players

plus they don't necessarily start off with 3...they can start with 0...but i think JDB atleast will be idk about anyone else

im curious as to what USC position will be impact other than Booty. Surely it will be a RB though but which one is the question? i think it will be chauncey though. thats my guess

for notre dame, i agree with who you listed on defense. Zib will definately be one. On offense im sure it will be Clausen and Darius Walker's replacement

theres no way clausen is impact...the only way he would be is if theres only 1 or 2 to begin with and then whoever plays chooses to start him and do good so he earns it...but theres no way they give him impact coming in...

i think zibby and probably carlson to start...idk bout anyone else

I'm dreading ever having to play WV seeing as white and slaton will both be impact and they rape in 07 already...looks like I'm not playing in the big east lol

yea but just because no one else would be doesn't mean clausen will...they could just not give out a 3rd impact(besides carlson and zibby IMO) and then just let whoever plays gain the 3rd based on how the season goes...

idk much about VTs defense besides the fact that they are dominant...but if taylor is their best def. player i can see him and another defender and prolly ore

iowatreat54
03-04-2007, 10:24 PM
also...I am pumped for Sims and Young to both be impact so that I can interchange them and dominate and have 2 1000 yard rushers and hopefully fulfill my lifelong NCAA dream of 2 HBs as 1st team all-americans

i think John David Booty will be or at least should be the 3rd highest rated QB in the game.

I would rate the top 5 QBs in this order
1. Brohm - Louisville
2. Brennan - Hawaii
3. Booty - USC
4. Henne - Michigan
5. McCoy - Texas

top 5 RBs should be:
1. McFadden - Arkansas
2. Slaton - WV
3. Stewart - Oregon
4. Wells - tOSU
5. Jaamal Charles - Texas

top 5 receivers:
1. Deshaun Jackson - Cal
2. Mario Manningham - Michigan
3. Marcus Monk - Arkansas
4. Sammy Stroughter - Oregon St (probably wont be rated this high but he is amazing and very underrated)
5. Patrick Turner - USC

also i hope they bring back the pregame shows with Lee Corso's predictions. i miss seeing him put on a mascot helmet and give a prediction

i mostly agree with those...except I think booty will be ahead of brennan and henne and brennan will be around the same rank

also...mike hart is definately top 5 rated HB without a doubt and probably even top 3...I don't see wells or charles being rated higher than him

and limas sweed will be a top 3 WR also

no way any freshmen will be 87 or something, Beanie wells was the best freshman rb last year and he was only a 82. also, no way henne or brohm are above 95-96 since b quinn was coming off an amazing junior campaign and was a 98 while t smith was a 95, both were better college players by far than henne.

We had a top 10 defense and Campbell had a 10 sack year. Kyle Wright will probably be a 53 but the defense should have 2 95+ guys. Baraka Atkins was a 98 overall last year and is nowhere near as good as Campbell. Campbell should be a 96 at worst, Phillips should be a 97/98.

It's illegal to use the players names.

Thats only because they havent secured the rights to them. Sure there would be a few holdouts, but the majority of players would just be happy to be in a game. Plus there is probably some way to deal with the NCAA to do it anyhow.

I know it is legal related that they havent done it in the past, but a company as big as EA should be able to get it done, not having it done is what you would expect from a garden shed developer.

I haven't played in a couple of years, but I remember that in Dynasty mode almost every TE would be 99 after a few years. This was back when Zach Miller and Greg Olsen were freshmen.

The stupid thing about those NCAA video games is that they have like a whole bunch of guys rated around 97, 98, and 99 every year when in reality there should only be no more than 3 or 4 at most. In 2005 Bush, Leinart, Young, Williams, Hawk should have been the only ones in that group, etc. This year there should be a couple guys only, and Brohm/Hart/Henne/Ainge are definitely not in that group - they should be around 90 or 92 at most.

However of those that deserve a 97 or 99 rating are Darren McFadden and maybe a guy like Jake Long possilby.

It's illegal to make money off of being a college football player. If anyone had their name in the game they wouldn't be allowed to play in the NCAA. Kind of defeats the purpose. It's a lot bigger than EA.

Cooper is a 5 star RB that is going to be our back up over Charlie Jones and will be out return man. It's Miami. Even if we had a down year we are still one of the top programs in the country. The only guys that might not be over 80 is an interior OL.

I think the highest rated running back not getting any credit will be Kyle Bell, CSU.

If I remember correctly, he was rated 86 last year. I know he didn't play last year due to the knee injury, but I still don't see them rating him under 90. The kid is a beast.

He'll be an 88, and it's very likely every one of our starters will be over eighty. Who wouldnt be? Humpal?

Christensen is poised to do some big things. The confidence level is certainly rising with him.

Pretty good, but the QBs are a bit high, McCray is low, Reddick is low. Is Morse playing C, I thought he was a guard.

I'm going to say that Pat White is going to be somewhere in the 92-94 range based mostly on the fact that he is the most athletic QB in the country. I think he was a 92 in last years game and it wont go down. Slaton will probably be a 96 and McFadden will be a 97 or 98.

He is moving to center for now. That is what he is playing in spring practice. The QBs were rated there last year and I don't see them moving them down any. McCray is probably a 87-88 and both the safeties should be over 90 (Ponder is better than Reddick), just wanted to tone it down a bit because we had a down year.

Bennett REALLY did not come across as a 95 when Michigan played them. More like a 75 with all of his drops and his failure to separate from Leon Hall. Then again, it was the season opener... Goff is definitely a 90+ guy though.

yeah cause you know, he did have to learn from his new QB, Nickson, who was also there leading rusher, wasnt that good last year. No run game and Bennett still got over 1100 reciving yards. It was Earl Bennett on Offense, and Goff and Langford on defense
