Crabtree to Seattle always works for me.

Can we assume that Detroit takes Laurinaitis with the 1st pick in round 2?

Crabtree is ok but i would rather have the best Run Blocker in the draft in Andre Smith.

I don't like Jenkins with Orakpo on the board but they are both great talents that would be beneficial to the team.

vontae davis is a terrible pick and not even from a 'he sucks' perspective but more relevant from a need perspective

Smith works, could play him anywhere on the line till Jones retires but i think they need a homerun hitter in Crabtree. i think they can shore the line up in round 2 with an Alex Mack, Duke Robinson or Troy Topog. just my take.

Troy Kropog... not being an asshole just avoiding confusion. I agree with the Crabtree pick because Seattle has lacked a big playmaker on offense and its hurting Hasselbeck and his time in Seattle. Smith wouldn't be a bad pick because of his versatility.

I am begging to think Curry will be our pick.prehaps Pioli sees in him what he and BB saw in Mayo last year

The previous Niner pick works. This current pick is TERRIBLE! Raji or Orakpo here. No QBs.

I thought it was a halfway decent pick. Why don't you want a QB?

Because Shaun Hill played very well in the games he started last year. 5-4 record with a so-so Oline and young WRs plus two of those games Gore was hurt. He finished the year as the 12th rated passer in the league. The Niners were only 2 games out of winning the division. Taking someone to stand around with the 10th pick makes no sense when they can get someone to help now. Shaun Hill played well enough to deserve a shot at QB.

Based on what? He played in only what like 14 games, has a bad knee and had his numbers inflated by playing on a great team. His own coach doesnt think he is ready to play in the NFL, how is he leading a team to the super bowl? I live in So-cal, Im not a USC fan, but I watched a lot of they're games and I was never super impressed with Sanchez. He benefits from a great running game and a great D.

but he only lost one game and he won the rose bowl. no doubt i like shaun hill but mark sanchez can once again benefit from a good rungame and hopefully better D.

i think sanchez will be a fine qb as long as he isnt expected to start immediately which he wouldnt be. that is why pete carroll thought he could run into problems. sanchez should be a top 15 pick--he has the skill, intagibles etc. just not experience, so bashing his skills in particular does not provide much of an argument. i dont think shaun hill is necessarily going to make the team better, although he is pretty good at not ***** the game up and is good at rebounding when he does. i'll take a top ot instead of him and potentially maualuga, but i start to be iffy when we are talking about raji considering that franklin played pretty well down the stretch.

23. New England Patriots (11-5) – Aaron Maybin, DE/OLB, Penn State

Great pick. Maybin has a ton of potential and could be a game changer in the NFL as a 3-4 OLB in my opinion, and an elite young pass rusher is something the Pats clearly need. Maybin is a great pick but I think Sintim is a better fit for our defense.

Where would Rey play? The have Willis and Spikes. Upgrading and getting younger at MLB would be luxery that the Niners can't afford with big holes on the Oline, saftey, pass rushing OLB and yes a dominant NT. I agree Franklin plays well and does a solid job holding the LOS but he doesnt penetrate the backfield and doesnt create lanes for the LBs. If the OTs are gone I think Raji would be a huge upgrade to a prime position in the 3-4 defense.

Brandon Pettigrew has character issues that worry me.. and i just don't really like him.
give us James Lauranitais or Peria Jerry. but if you insist on a TE then Chase Coffman is better.

he would back up spikes for a year, although im a huge spikes fan. ive always been a bpa guy. im just not quite sold on raji yet. if we were able to trade down to a team that wanted sanchez that would be one thing. also, i didnt see that orakpo is there- id like to have him over rey as well assuming that my dream FA peppers is elsewhere

Bears have enough under performing d-lineman. Don't give them Michael Johnson.

If he performs well at the combine, there's a big possibility he's the BPA at that point.

dude has no instincts whatsoever not to even mention that he doesnt really fill a big need and plays in a conference that makes corners look good since there isnt that much qualitiy around at qb. and no he wont even be bpa cause we already expect him to explode in the combine and that is the only reason imo that he is getting first day considerations anyway.

Atlanta won't get Pettigrew. we have no need for a guy with character as bad as Vick's
