Does anyone know how to get songs off of my ipod and back onto the PC?

my old desktop was a piece and I got rid of it. I lost all of my songs. My ipod is about to break and I want to get all of my songs back on my new desktop.

I know mac users can use a program called senuti to get songs put back on... I need help for a pc though.

Well, unless you bought the songs off of Itunes, apple wont allow you to do so. I tried a bunch of times, the only songs it would let me transfer were the ones I bought on itunes, unless theres a program to do so.

I think you just need to get iTunes again and sync from the iPod to the computer, but I'm not entirely sure.

the only way to do this is to download a program that will transfer songs from your ipod back to your computer. The reason the ipod doesn't have the inherent capability of doing this is because music file sharing is already bad enough for the record companies, who supply their music to Apple. The program I use is Xilisoft's iRip. You have to download the torrent unless you want to buy the program outright. It's really convenient though, it looks just like itunes when your selecting the songs and stuff. Let me know if you have any questions.
