Post any stories, ideas, games you like to play, anything billiards related.
Anyone own any nice cues? I've been wanting to get a McDurmott for a while, but a friend won't lower the price on the one i want :(

I've played a lot in the past, but in all reality, I suck. I do enjoy it a lot though, and that is all that matters.

I'm a hustler when it comes to pool, as I prefer to call it.

I usually play 9 ball or APA 8 ball. I'm always down to play for some cash :)

Action shot of BOE playing snooker. In all seriousness though, the guy headbutted the ref and got suspended, hilarious!

When I was at Ft. Polk, I played everyday. Our barracks had a day-room with a table. Haven't played seriously in years.

My buddies have two tables in their dorm and back home me and two other buddies have tables. So I play a lot, but We very rarely (read never) play sober so I'm almost useless at any shot where the cue ball's more than half the table away from the ball I'm trying to hit so needless to say that I'm hugely inconsistent but I'm a net positive when money's involved and good as long as I can start with close shot and have a good feel for how to set up my next shot.
Got a table at my home. I'd say I'm quite good, but really have to work on consistency.

I had a friend who would always play billiards to screw with me and the rest of our mutual friends. He would position all of his billiard balls right in front of the pockets EVERY SINGLE GAME.

So he missed once every time before he made a shot?

No, he'd place them in such a way that getting anything in any pocket would cause his ball to go in instead. After he did that, he'd just spend the rest of the game not scratching.

I've got a nice table in my basement. I play pretty frequently.
9 ball is my favorite.

For me it depends what rules you play with on 9 ball. I've played tournaments where you don't have to call the 9 ball combo, and sometimes people just hit the crap out of a ball, miss and somehow make the 9 ball.
