We don't need an OG, we do need a C though. If you would have given us Wood (haha :) over Levitre, that would have been an awesome draft, although I would also switch Sintim with Sean Smith, because CB is a bigger need.

Monroe is a perfect pick for the Bengals in round 1 but they have much much much much much bigger needs than a defensive tackle in round 2.

jerrys a very intriguing pick. not sure wed take him over oher if oher were on the board but in general im not mad about the pick.

A combo of Aaron Curry and Meredith, Kropog, Nicks, or even Sean Smith would be a much much MUCH better draft.

We don't need a first round TE..

I like Oaklands first pick but I hate the 2nd.

Bad Bears picks. They don't address any of our top needs I have listed in my sig.

And I strongly, strongly oppose Freeman. Your going to trust coaches associated with a team who still has most of their major passing records held by a WW2 era guy to develop a HUGE project in Freeman? No thanks.

Well I kind of hate everything about that Jets draft. Maclin in the first and Chung in the second would be better.

Except its more than that. The Jets just drafted an OLB in the first round sixth overall last year; and if they, or any team is going to give up on a player every time they don't set the world on fire as a rookie, they might as well just trade away their entire draft every year until new management can be hired.

Stafford/Laurinaitis has become some sort of generic standby for Lions mock drafts.

Well....it makes a lot of sense. I don't think thats a bad thing.

give SF johnson in the 2nd, and you would have perfect 49ers draft

Good first pick for KC but give us anyone over Michael Johnson. Ugh!

horrible Falcons mock. 1) Tyson Jackson is a UT for us and we don't need one. and 2) we have ZERO NEED for a WR in any way shape or form.
we need:
NT
OLB
SS
DE -a 4-3 DE
TE

That's a pretty rough 2nd rounder for the Bengals, I love the first one.

Could think of a lot better value AND need picks, mostly Mack.

I'm not high on Kruger but not a bad Niners draft.

...Just so you don't know it's just a few Jets fans that think the draft is awful, I'll third it. And agree with both who TTGS wants us to pick and why it would be ridiculous for us to pick an OLB in the first.

Give us Kropog in the second and it's perfect.

Cardinals have no need for a S and very little need for ILB, both are bad picks.

Give us McCoy in the 1st and OG/C in the 2nd

This has got to be about the fourth mock in a row were people are giving the Jets OLB in the 1st. Please stop were fine at that position. I agree that Maclin and Chung would be the best draft for us in that situation

wow this is just an awful giants draft

giantsfan

That's pretty ugly for the giants. First taking Pettigrew over Britton, DHB, Britt or Nicks is a porr way to start. We could use a backup TE and spending a first rounder on backup is never a good idea. Boss is doing great and improving, we even have young guys who are good blockers so it's not like we even need a backup TE, but if we could grab a guy like Nelson in the third if there's no better value at a position of need, to let us pass out of two TE sets effectively.

Now what you should've done is given the run on LBs and LTs take Eben Britton to be Diehl's understudy and hopefully have him playing well enough to take over the LT spot next summer letting Diehl go back to a more natural position like LG or RT. Other option would to pick one of DHB, Britt or Nicks to be our number 1 receiver of the future, but considering that only Britton and Kropog remain of LTs I like on day one I think that's the spot to look at for is in this case.

Ramses Barden is a solid pick due to the lack of value at LT and SLB, but if we go WR in the first this pick would have to be Troy Kropog, sure getting a potential upgrade to Michael Johnson like Moore or a stud like McCoy would be great, but if we get a shot at a true potential Franchise LT we have to take it unless there's a huge value at SLB or maybe WR.

And finally Ellerbe just doesn't fit, yes we need a LB, but we need someone who to play SLB for us, ellerbe's not a good enough blitzer or cover guy for the role, he's just not any better than Goff and Kehl are for us. There's really no SLBs who'd do better than Goff at that spot other than Sintim, Cushing if he doesn't bust, Matthews after some bulking up or curry. Look at DE, RB, NT, SS and TE now.

I like Beatty, but it would be hard to pass on Pettigrew there especially if we are getting Loadholt in the 2nd. If it were OT I'd rather have Britton, but it's all about personal opinion.

Even though I like Oher, there's absolutely no way we draft an OT first day. I love the Mack choice though.

If Curry or Jenkins do not somehow fall to #14, then, I prefer Chris Wells to Vontae Davis, Brian Cushing, and James Laurinaitis unless we are trading down.

Not bad for your first mock but you should keep in mind who each team drafted last year

i.e. The Bills took a corner in Leodis McKelvin at #11 last year, so its unlikely they would draft another in the first round this year. Same thing with the Jets and Maybin since Gholston is a pretty similiar player.

Not a fan of the Colts 1st round pick. Running back is not a big enough need to warrant a 1st round pick. The run defense was horrible especially the interior of the defensive line, so a defensive tackle should be the 1st priority, as we can always pick up a complement for Addai in one of the later rounds. Even if there are no DTs worth taking at that point there are other needs that are greater, such as finding a replacement for Harrison or maybe a linebacker who can tackle for the defense. But I did like the Colts 2nd pick considering that need wasn't addressed in the 1st.

from a Jets perspective, while not a bad pick I see two guys picked right after 17 that they may want more (Maclin and DJ Moore)
