Pretty simple. Vote for the best all-around team comprised of college football legends. It DOES NOT MATTER whether someone was good in the pros or not. He wasn't drafted in this, but you would vote for Ryan Leaf based on how good he was at Washington State, not how good he was in the pros.

Come on! I have Ken Dorsey! :D

I went with Florida.

Michigan is good on both sides,

Florida has the best offense by far

LSU has the best defense

Florida just has enough on defense for me to pick them. That offense is sick

I was following this draft. It was absolutely horrendous. At the beginning, I thought that Sniper just loaded the draft with people who didn't know anything before the recent past so he could just win :P

I mean, how many 1st round RBs? There are 20 superstar college RBs of all-time, no one needed to take a guy early. It was crazy what QBs were actually taken, and which were thrown out. And I think the Jayhawks just picked recent great NFL players, not even great college players.

There are picks on EVERY team I do not understand. USC has the closest semblance to ALL top players.

Heh, I just took the first eight guys (at the time). If I may ask, which picks didn't you like on my team?

Yeah, I voted for USC, with Michigan a VERY close second, but Dorsey (both) and Pollack just soured my taste for them.

Yeah, I voted for USC, with Michigan a VERY close second, but Dorsey (both) and Pollack just soured my taste for them.

Well, here's my reasoning for those picks.

Pollack

3x All-American, 2x SEC DPOY, 2004 Bednarik, '03 and '04 Hendricks, '04 Lombardi, '04 Lott. I actually thought it was a good pick, but whatever.

G. Dorsey

2x First-Team All-American, 2x First Team SEC, '07 SEC DPOY, '07 Lombardi, '07 Outland, '07 Nagurski, '07 Lott

K. Dorsey

While at the University of Miami, Dorsey was known as a consummate winner, leading the Hurricanes to the 2001 national championship and posting a record of 38-2 as the team's starting quarterback. Dorsey also effectively rewrote the school record book, setting career records for total offense (9,486 yards), passing yards (9,565), passing touchdowns (86), pass completions (668), pass attempts (1,153), victories as a starting quarterback (38), winning percentage by a starting quarterback (.974), 200-yard passing performances (31), consecutive passes without an interception (193), consecutive games with a touchdown pass (31), and touchdown passes in a game (5).
In addition, was named the co-MVP of the 2001 Rose Bowl (in which Miami defeated the University of Nebraska to win its fifth national championship), Offensive Player of the Year twice (2001, 2002), and first-team All-Big East three times (2000, 2001, 2002). Dorsey was also a finalist for the Heisman Trophy in both 2001 and 2002 and the winner of the 2001 Maxwell Award, which is given to the national collegiate player of the year.

Also a 2x Archie Griffin award winner

I don't care about awards, I'm looking for the best players. Heck, even looking at USC some of the picks are just blah.

There is, just not, with players who were good for a little bit Ken Dorsey was not a dominant player Glenn Dorsey was good, but not elite DT wise in ALL of colleges history and Pollack as an elite LB all-time? I don't think so

I was torn between USC and LSU.

I chose LSU because they have a phenomenal STs with the best kicker, 2 of the best returners and a fantastic punter. Plus their stout back 7 on D and some very productive offensive skill players.

Plus, they have Joe Pa, presumably when he's coaching on the sidelines.

I know there were better pure kickers then Bob Gain, (Kevin Butler came to mind) but he was also the team's two way starter at Offensive and Defensive tackle and won an Outland Trophy. I figured who better to be back there to pick up the ball and smash it into the end-Zone on a botched snap or to be an additional legitimate tackler on the kick off.

No player can handle the Bo Jackson, Reggie Bush, AND Adrian Peterson experience.

Add Tim Tebow to that equation and what could anyone do?
