If you were starting a new franchise and you could only select from the Ravens who would be your 1st pick and why???

Haloti Ngata!!! He is so young and talented. He is already a top 5 DT and on his way to the #1. Defense's start up front and why not take Ngata

my thoughts exactly. Hes what? 24? already an elite DT. So versitle, and is getting better. Plus, the games are won in the trenches so I'd take Ngata.

I take a 6'9 350 lb 22 year old franchise LT and build around that!

its between Gaither and Ngata and you cant go wrong with either. I don't get people starting a expansion franchise then putting in a rookie QB, that is just a recipe for disaster.

Couldn't Agree more but more often then not they go that route.. How can a QB succeed with no blocking and no one to throw to or to hand off to?!?!?!!

I picked Haloti as well..

Haloti no doubt, considered Ed Reed.

1. Ngata
2. Suggs
3. Flacco

in that order.

i firmly believe that it all starts in the trenches, oline and dline. i chose Haloti cause as i am a viking fan, i dont know as much about gaither as i do Haloti. he is a very dominant player, and he is still young

Gaither hasn't proven to be a franchise LT yet, so I'm gonna go with Ngata or Reed.
