These are really, really good if you haven't had them. As far as I know you cant buy them, but my Mom makes them and they are really good (coming from a guy who doesn't like regular sweet potatoes)

I was talking about them when I ate lunch today and none of my friends had ever had these. wondering if I am the only one who has had them?

Sweet potato fries are like candy, they're so much better than regular ones, and they're better for you. They do sell them at most places now, unless you eat all your meals at McDonalds & Burger King.

I don't know why, but that struck me as hilarious, on both counts. Not that its funny that your allergic to Sweet Potatoes (Although is does seem odd...) but the reaction. Rep points for you.

Sweet Potato Fries definately deserve their own thread. This is by far the best thread GRF has ever started. I was almost tempted to give him good rep but then cooler head prevailed.

You know, I actually never had them. I feel compelled to go out and get some now. I guess I should hit a diner? My diet outside the home consists of fast food that I eat while driving my dreaded commute, what places can I hit up to get some of these tastey treats?

I guess some diners would have them. I normally get them in two places. A bar near me in Jersey and a bar in NYC.

Trader Joe's has some really good sweet potato fries that you just throw in the oven.
