If anyone hasn't seen him play he has a pretty good highlight reel on youtube...He is the right DE in most clips. Sometimes he plays stand-up

Ayers looks like a good solid prospect to me. I wish there was more consistency in his game throughout his career though. I think the UT DC did a good job confusing the OL on a lot of those plays but I still give props to Ayers. He looks like a lower 2nd, early 3rd round pick to me.

I totally forgot he picked off Matt Stafford, lol.

The Vols should have just put him at TE. Would have been an upgrade on offense! :D

Good find Volsman!

Does anyone else think Mayock is crazy and just trying to be different than McShay and Kiper for having Ayers the 12th prospect on his big board.

I mean, I seriously doubt he thinks that Ayers is actually better than some other guys that deserve to be up there.

Is he a 1st round guy?

I see Ayers in the same light as Charles Johnson a few years ago. He's not sexy, but he gets the job done.

Currently, I see him as a 3rd RD pick with a chance of going in the late 2nd RD. With a good combine, though, he could cement himself as a 2nd RD value.

I'm curious to see how he looks in drills. From the video, he could profile as a 34 OLB. Looks like his best football is ahead of him.

If he is as impressive as he was at the Senior Bowl, then #12 isn't out of the question. Just have to wait and see.

If a 3-4 team drafts him, I think he projects very closely to LaMarr Woodley. Really similar prospect.

Except for the lack of college production...Woodley straight up beasted at college, and hes straight up beasting in the NFL.
