Anyone got any?

- With his 20 sacks, DeMarcus Ware had more sacks by himself than three teams did. The three teams were Cincinnati (17), Cleveland (17) and Kansas City (10).

- Despite having the 30th ranked pass defense (by yards per game), the Chicago Bears finished 2nd in the league in passes defended.

- With his nine interceptions, Ed Reed had more interceptions by himself than three teams did. The three teams were Detroit (4), Denver (6), and Dallas (8).

those stats are kinda inflated because we like deflected all those passes on first and second down, but let the others just get the 3rd and long. Also, the other teams just passed on us a ridiculous amount

You my friend missed a little thing called the pre-season. We won 4. Plus we had a lot of moral victories.

Pretty ironic how the only team to go undefeated in the preseason (I believe) didn't win a single regular season game. I guess it shows how much the preseason really matters.

Bears might also have gotten 13 hurries on the season too, lol.

Any positives the defense had this year are just overshadowed when I remember back to the 2nd Lions game where our pass rush (except Idonije who was on 3 guys) just went backwards.

Dan Orlovsky with NO pressure on him = Dan Marino, John Elway and Joe Montana rolled into one apparently!

That game was great despite the outcome. Dan O was injured too on like the first play. Come to think of it all the North games except for Chicago at home for Detroit were in question until the very end. Thats why I love the NFC North. Gives me hope as a Lions fan. But of course division games are usually close.

I planned on making this thread leading with this doozy of a fact but never got around to it:

Q. Which player has the longest run in the NFL this season? Which player has the second longest?

A. LeRon McClain, and LenDale White.

lulz.

That is pretty funny. Two guys a lot of people saw more as fullbacks with no longspeed.

That's preposterous!!! We more then likely have the best secondary this decade at full potential!!! ;)

I guess logical reasoning would be that teams were stacking the box against the big backs deep in their own territory and the safeties ****** up on run support.

ABSOLUTELY horrible receiving stats. Relax, I know you're a Giants fan and I'm not disrespecting his game but c'mon. This thread is about random facts. A random fact is that he dropped nearly as many passes as he caught. he's still a sweet FB.
