The Cowboys do love players from an 0-16 team!

I can guess it is a conditional pick next year. 4th-6th or something.

I came to love his tiny hands, religious apparel and 4th quarter meltdowns.

In all seriousness, I actually did want him back as a backup.

I've read that it's Late Round Picks!

Either way, to get anything for Kitna is a steal.

No doubt, though you know what, the guy can still play.

He's a great backup, and should pair well with Romo.

Well, he's definetly a much better backup than Brad Johnson. I'd still take Boller ove the both of em' :D

Yay Kitna is finally gone. Hopefully he can melt down in the 4th quarter for the Cowboys and lose them some games with his turnovers.

It's too bad we don't have their 2010 First Rounder

The Cowboys have the most turnover-prone QB Duo in NFL History!

FEAR THE GAME BEING ON THE LINE!

zomg, they now have the best qb combo in the NFL.

I'm not saying he is starting material, but he can still be productive. Only major issue is turnovers IMO. He is much better than Brad Johnson. But no, I am not "very" wrong.

Wasn't the Lions last win vs. the Cowboys?

I've been calling for Henry's head since the off-season started. All this does is dump his salary, and it brings in a back-up quarterback that can at the very least throw the ball 15 yards down the field. Henry would have been released eventually, so good move.

Unfortunately, as the ball reaches that 15 yard mark, it gets intercepted by the Defense.

either that or it falls to the ground without ever coming near a player of either team.

We had that combination and nothing special happened. Even Jesus (Government Name: Calvin Johnson) couldn't save Jon Kitna.

If I recall, Mike Williams also found paydirt.

How many cool trivia nuggets are in that game? One.

It's either getting intercepted 3 yards down field, or 15. I'll take Kitna, as his pick might be a glorified punt.

meh...I'm not so sure he would have been released. This is actually fairly surprising and what makes things worse...besides the fact that Kitna isnt any good, mocked the cowboys, and has bumped heads with Roy Williams on several occassions...ummm yeah, the Lions are probably moving Henry to safety. We could have certainly used Henry still. Safety need has now increased tenfold.

So Henry ofr Kitna straight up? I don't get it. I thought Henry was a pretty solid corner and Kitna is a decent backup...I guess. The article I read said Kitna will make $4 mill next year. So the Cowboys traded a younger, cheaper player who can start for an over the hill backup QB?

This really is a good move for the Cowboys. Kitna is a good fit for the offense if something happens to Romo. Either way he couldn't do worse than Brad Johnson.

Henry has one year left.

well that explains why they gave him up easily
