I bought my best friend one of those when they were really popular. I remember I had like 300 Simpsons ones.

Just like with Pokemon cards I never played the actual game.

YES! POGS!
Poison, absolutely. And random hockey ones. I keep a Dominik Hasek Vezina Trophy Pog on my dresser for reasons I don't understand.

Just like with Pokemon cards I never played the actual game.

Yep. I mean I'd slam them all the time but I had no idea what for.

Yeah, I had some of those when I was younger too.

My dog ate like 10 of them. ha. I just ended up throwing them out one day. They were such a waste of money and I have no idea what I saw in them.

I was never a pog kid. The only thing about pogs i remember is the Simpsons episode where Milhouse sells Bart's soul for Alf Pogs.

Never got into them. I do know that POG stands for
Passion Fruit,
Orange,
Guava

though. Had a girlfriend who's mother was Hawaiian. Apparently years ago thay had flavored milk in Hawaii years ago (Passion Fruit, Orange and Guava were the flavors). Under the cap of the milk container (the old glass kind) where these round, heavy seals. Thus the name, POGS.

I had both Crazy Bones and POGS. I liked collecting them and trading them more than actually "playing" them.

Pokemon, POGS, and Crazy Bones...all fond childhood memories of mine. I still have all my POGS, but I think I traded my Crazy Bones for a ******** of Pokemon Cards. I was ahead of the trend at the time, but now I wish I had my Crazy Bones too :(
