1. No one, we've addressed all our needs that won't be handled by the draft.

1. FS (Ken Hamlin or Mike Doss). Even that is a ho-hum request. I think if we sign no one else we're fine.

Id rather have Deon Grant than Doss or Hamlin. Grant is better in coverage while Doss and Hamlin are Roy Williams types

Ron Edwards.

Marc Colombo (and Grant if we chose not to persue a FS in the first round).

I think we go with Columbo and then go into the draft to get a S in the first 2 rounds. I would be happy with Nelson in the first or Weddle, Wendling or Piscatelli in the 2nd.

I want to save some of that money and get an extension done with Romo.

The guy at safety that I like is Kevin Kaesviharn. Otherwise, I think I would be fine drafting a corner (assuming it's either Hall, Revis or Ross) and moving Henry to safety.

Anyone else see, by the way, that we've talked to William James of the Eagles?

James would provide solid depth.

I'm not in favor of signing any of the FA safeties. FAs are looking for big money this year... and I'm sure they'd cost a pretty penny for marginal improvement at the position.

Colombo, and Hamlin.

Colombo, and another o-lineman for depth.

I'm thinking more and more that we should not sign a FA safety, also. The price is high and there are about half a dozen quality NFL safties in this draft after the top one or two.

Columbo and maybe Kaserhavin

I really like Kaserhavin...hopefully he sits out in FA awhile.

Mickey: That's still a possibility. But when asked Monday about going after one of the top free-agent safeties, Cowboys executive vice president Stephen Jones said the Cowboys won't be paying a $10 million signing bonus for a free safety. He said the club still is high on the two young guys they have, Patrick Watkins and Abram Elam. He said if they picked up a veteran safety, it might be later in free agency when the prices come down.

I wouldn't mind picking up C/G Jason Whittle for OL depth. Nevermind I just saw that Buffalo got him.

Does anyone have a full free agent list to view??? Or do we just pick names from a hat.

FB- James Mungro

DE- Marcellus Wiley... lol

ILB- Chris Claibourne

If you forget the Wiley choice... I think if both of these guys are still around after the draft(unlikely)... We should grab them if we havent filled those positions through the draft.

Hamlin, Then if we could draft someone like Tank...I would be a VERY happy man!

Hamlin is a true SS, I remember they were talking about it on Talkin' Cowboys. He is overrated in coverage.

he almost died last year I think after he got attacked outside of a club and was hit on the head by a street sign or something.

Wikepedia:
Controversy surrounded Hamlin due to an altercation that allegedly took place between Hamlin and two unidentified men in a Seattle nightclub on October 17, 2005. According to a police report, Hamlin and his girlfriend were leaving the club at about 2 A.M., several hours after the Seahawks defeated Houston. Hamlin's girlfriend told officers that Hamlin placed a hand on another man's shoulder and said, "Excuse me." The man told Hamlin to stop pushing, and the two men began shoving each other. According to the report, Hamlin punched the man in the face. Another man knocked Hamlin down. Other witnesses told police one of the men hit Hamlin twice with a street sign.

Ken sustained serious injuries to his head due to a blow from a street sign. Hamlin was rushed to the hospital in critical condition with a fractured skull, a small blood clot and bruising of the brain tissue. He was released on October 20, 2005 in stable condition. He didn't play football for the rest of the season, despite being able to watch live at the games.
