The Bears pick makes me sad...Nicks or even Britt would so much nicer fits.

I could see that pick for New England.

6. Cincinnati Bengals - Michael Crabtree, WR, Texas Tech
Ocho Cinco is still a bengal and they just massively overpaid Laveranues Coles. Combine that with their second year receivers and it is fairly unlikely that they will go WR in the first round.
15. Houston Texans - Jeremy Maclin, WR, Missouri
The Texans were 4th in passing yards this past year. Do they really need a #2 WR that badly?
29. New York Giants - Jared Cook, TE, South Carolina
Yes, for those times when having a 25 year old 1st pro bowl alternate TE just isn't enough.

I don't see Al making that reach, while Gallery & Huff are pretty much busts, and Russell and McFadden still have their respective juries out, none of them was a reach like that. I don't see Al handing out a top ten contract to a reach like that. He likes to do that kind of thing, but not in the top ten that I have seen.

Dammit I completely forgot the Bengals picked up Coles. Even so Ocho is unhappy, and Coles is overrated.

There was nobody left to give them.. I thought about Clay Matthews, but I don't like the name Clay. Also, Jared Cook might actually make Pro Bowl as opposed to Kevin Boss slacking off and just being an alternate.

Not with Kevin Killdrive calling the plays.
Also, if Cook could actually make the pro bowl, why do you think all of the teams that don't have a pro bowl (or alternate) TE pass on him?

Because they're too busy masturbating? I don't know, why do NFL Teams do half the things they do?

Interesting Colts pick. I would prefer Ziggy hood instead of Brace but Brace is is good pick as it still fills out biggest need.

Laurinitis is OK, we certainly need another LB, but I don't really like him as a fit in our defense. The best bet for the Pats may be to draft a DE/LB like Robery Ayers or Larry English. We have some flexibilty when it comes to taking a ILB or a tweener becuase Adailus can play either inside or outside.

Absolutely agreed. He does not get nearly enough love as a very solid #2 wideout.

I don't think Nicks fits what the Ravens want in a WR. The size isn't there.

Just say "no" to Cushing at #14 for the Saints.

Britt to the Eagles the pick before the Giants :(
and I'd be able to live with the Giants pick, don't listen to those who say it's terrible.

To Roscoesdad and Puppypuncher.......so we should take Kenny Britt over Nicks because Britt is 6'4? Nicks is a much better WR/playmaker which is our #1 area of need, so therefor he is the pick!

yeaaaaaa it really wouldnt surprise me if we took Ayers but it would be painful for me because i personally think he'd be a big reach

Yeah actually. When all of our routes are deep comebacks, I don't want Flacco throwing it over tiny Nicks's head. I feel like our roster is full of guys like Nicks and that Britt is the better prospect overall. What fits the system fits the system.

We have no one on our roster that is like Hakeem Nicks at all. Mason and Clayton don't have his size or abilities, and Marcus Smith has his size but doesn't have his abilities. Not really seeing where you are getting that one. Don't let his 40 time mislead you, on the field he blazes and can stretch the field.

He averaged a shade under 18 yards per catch. That's beastly.

From what I understand, one of the bigger receivers in the 6'3" - 6'5" range is what we're looking for. Hakeem Nicks is slightly larger than Mark Clayton but not significantly. I'm familiar with Hakeem Nicks and his ceiling is "a great #2". I feel like we've already got a #2 in Mark Clayton and need to go after Kenny Britt.
