Assuming Detroit doesn't take Stafford, which is certainly plausible, I don't see him falling as far as 10.

Decent Phins pick, although I would prefer Sean Smith, Nicks, DHB, or even Darius Butler.

[b]6. Cincinnati Bengals = Michael Oher OT, Ole Miss

Surprised here to see Oher ahead of Smith.

10. San Francisco 49ers = Matt Stafford QB, Georgia

I honestly cannot see Stafford dropping this far. At the least someone will trade into the top 5 if he isnt taken.

18. Chicago Bears = Percy Harvin WR, Florida

Not sure Harvin is the type of receiver that the Bears are looking for. Especially with DHB on the board.

Sintim is a horrible pick for Atlanta. he doesn't fit our scheme as an OLB in any way shape or form, and isn't worth a first rounder as a DE.

Wells is okay but I would prefer Moreno, I don't like Loadholt though, RT isn't a need. If the eagles take a OT there it's probably William Beatty.

He wont get by #4.

Whether you did research or guessed, I think you got it right in what could be a HUGE surprise in the draft with Everette Brown at 5.

Supposedly the Browns are wary of Orakpo's injury history (in addition to the fact he has almost no technique) and could very well opt for Brown there, who I think will be a better pro than Orakpo even if he is gonna be considered a reach there.

Dont listen to these guys above me. Stafford #10 to my 49ers is where its at!

I like seeing it on some of these mock drafts, but ulitimately I agree with others, I dont see him falling to 10.

I didn't really research it other than my own personal belief that Everette Brown will transition to LB much better than Orakpo could. I think Brown is the perfect pass rusher for the Browns to take at #5.

Happy to see that for the most part everyone likes their pick.

Sorry to ATL fans really struggled with that pick and knew it wasn't very good my next mock will be better for you guys. I almost gave you guys Alphonso Smith or DJ Moore but I decided to help out your front 7 instead.

And to those who think Stafford won't fall to 10 I don't see why not. Personally I find him to be extremely overrated, and I didn't want to put him at 10 but the 9ers need a QB badly and they'll take a chance on him.

please continue helping the front 7. I just don't like Sintim's fit in our defense, Clay Matthews is a good fit though. or a NT or DE. no CB, we don't need one. no S, we don't need one.

I agree. The first three are right on IMO. Then it will get interesting. If Seattle isn't going to take a QB they will trade the pick to someone who will.

Once that happens Teams will jockey for the second QB and you could see a couple of trades quickly. Some teams won't want to move too far back (probably) so bidding wars could happen and they will have to happen fast cause you only have ten minutes on the clock. I bet teams will start talking to each other about different scenarios even before draft day so they can have some parameters.

"If the guy I want is still on the board when you're picking what do you want for the pick?" That should be the theme to this draft cause it's going to happen more than ever.

If teams are jumping for the QB's other players will slide and it will all snowball. Teams that aren't looking for QB's will suddenly see they might actually have a chance to get the guy they really would want. Even though it's a deep draft I think the QB frenzy will happen and that will make picks 4-12 or so interesting.

This is going to be a real fun draft. I'm flying back from West Africa so I can watch it!

I considered Peria Jerry or Ron Brace but I wasn't sure. That dam Falcons pick delayed me putting this draft up for about an hour just sitting and thinking about it.

really? here's some help:
Falcon's primary needs:
OLB - pure cover 2 WLB.
NT - cover 2 style in that he can penetrate and help with the run. think Jerry, Moala, Hood. Brace doesn't fit.
DE - pass rusher. pure and simple. anyone but Maybin though. Maybin is too small for Smith to like. Michael Johnson and Larry English are great fits.

Butler is a great pick for the Steelers in my mind. Seems kinda strange though that the Steelers were one of the few teams to skip Connecticut's Pro day. Steelers typically go to teams pro days and have visits of the players they draft early on. For the past few years, other than last year, the players the Steelers picked in the first 3 rounds had all visited the team.

I'm not liking it. I would love Butler in the second roud, but CB can wait till then or a later round as it traditionally has in the past for us. (McFadden 2nd rounder, Ike Taylor 4th round, Willie *** 5th round, Deshea Townshead 4th round). We haven't taken a CB in the first round since Chad Scott in 1997. Since then we've taken the 4 I previously listed, and Ricardo Coclough, Hank Poteat, and LaVar Glover all in 2 round or later. Ike Taylor is nearly on a pro bowl level, and William G ay I think could turn into a very good player. Townshead is a solid nickel and can become a decent #2 if G ay is overwhelmed. The depth at CB is deep enough where we can find one later. OT I think is the most pressing need. Starks is not a good LT and Colon is a guard.
