OFFENSE: Balanced
DEFENSE: 4-3

QB- Carson Palmer
HB- Brian Westbrook
HB- Ronnie Brown
FB Ovie Mughelli
WR- Larry Fitzgerald
WR- Marques Colston
WR- Mark Clayton
TE- Jason Witten
LT- Chris Samuels
LG- Mike Wahle
C- Justin Hartwig
RG- David Diehl
RT- Kareem McKenzie

DE- Will Smith
DT- Shaun Rogers
DT- Kris Jenkins
DE- Mario Williams
OLB- Julian Peterson
MLB- Brian Urlacher
OLB- Keith Bulluck
CB- Rashean Mathis
CB- Ken Lucas
S- Sean Jones
S- Gibril Wilson

OFFENSE: On offense I plan on letting Carson Palmer air it out to the two headed monster of Colston and Fitzgerald. Mark Clayton is the perfect compliment to Fitz and Colston. At RB I have the versatile Brian Westbrook who is the perfect offensive weapon in my high powered offense. This draft is for over 4 years so my other guy Ronnie Brown should develop over each year, potential pro bowl RB.

DEFENSE: Defense is my teams strongest asset IMO. My defense is based around my DT's. Rogers and Jenkins have to be the best DT combo in htis thing. Will Smith is a young stud at DE. Mario Williams will be a beast in 4 years. My LB core is my favorite part of my team. Urlacher, Petterson, and Bulluck will be racking up tackles like its nobodys business. My secondary consists of 4 young studs that will shut down the passing game.

My TEam

QB: Peyton Manning
HB: Frank Gore
H-back/FB: Chris Cooley
WR: Terrell Owens
WR: Hines Ward
WR: Braylon Edwards
TE: Alge Crumpler
LT: Jason Peters
LG: Vince Manuwai
C: Nick Mangold
RG: Shawn Andrews
RT: Jordan Gross

Defence:

3-4

DE: John Henderson
NT: Casey Hampton
DE:Cornelius Griffen
OLB: Shawne Merriman
MLB: Al Wilson
MLB: Kirk MOrrison
OLB: Jason Taylor
CB: Terrence Newman
S: Dawan Landry
S: CHris Hope
CB: Nathan Vasher
CB: Terrence McGee

PR/KR: Terrence McGee

Offence: With Peyton Manning at the helm this offence should be unstoppable. With TO and Hines lining up on opposite sides, with Braylon Edwards in the slot. Peyton SHould be able to pick teams apart. THe oline that i have assembled includes a good balance between run and pass blocking, which includes two of the best young studs at their position in andrews and Mangold. Plus a rising star in Jason Peters on the left side. With Frank Gore will let Peyton set up the play action beautifully, and will be able to catch the ball out of the backfield, not mention run the clock down when needed, especially with Hines blocking on the outside. Chris Cooley gives Peyton the opportunity to be very creative, and Alge should give Peyton a nice safety valve.

Defence: My defence all starts with the front seven. The key to the 3-4 is having a great nosetackle and great rushers coming from the edge. I have the best in the business in Casey Hampton, who will be able to occupy double or even triple teams. WIth JOhn Henderson and COrnelius Griffen at DE, i have two young studs who can stop the run, and also get some pressure on the QB when needed. In Jason Taylor and Shawne Merriman, i can say that i have the two best 3-4 OLB's in the game who will be wrecking havoc from beginning to end. My ILB's are both very strong tacklers, who are good in coverage and have big play capability. My two cornerbacks can each hold their ground in man to man coverage, and are always capable of taking one to the house. WHile my two safetys will keep getting better, are solid in pass defence, and can come up and help on running plays if needed

Ravens1991

Now here is my wrap up.

QB-Jay Cutler- We have 3 good deep threat WR and a great intermediate to deep TE in Heap, he has the arm strength and confidence to let that ball loose to either one of them targets.
RB-Laurence Maroney- He brings the ability to take any run to the house, he can out run you, break your tackle, and do his great stiff arm on you. He can go for a inside run or a outside run as well. Also gives us the opportunity to send him our on dump passes so he can use his game breaking ability. Plus with our o-line he would do well with thier ability to get to the second level.
RB-Willis McGahee- He is effective in space and can benefit from Steinbach pulling for him, he will help keep Maroney fresh as well
WR-Roy Williams-A big play threat with amazing hands, he is 6'2 and can jump as high as a kite, he can go long or run a 10 yard slant and make a jaw dropping catch over the middle.
WR-Lee Evans-A speed threat who can make plays happen, he will benefit with Cutlers cannon.
WR-Santana Moss- A elite deep threat, can be sent deep and burn the competition, is he gets past the CB good luck for a S to cover him.
LT-Levi Jones-Levi is a pro bowl quality LT, will protect Cutlers blindside and pairing him up with Steinbach will give us a great left side to run on.
LG-Eric Steinbach-A great pass blocker will help protecting Cutlers blindside giving him time to air it out to our WR, he is athletic enough for pulls in the running game.
C-Chris Spencer-Chris is young and can anchor a o-line he will be able to handle the heat from the interior d-line.
RG-Logan Mankins-He is a mauler that with him being paired up with Jamal Brown will give us a right side good for power runs.
RT-Jamal Brown-A athletic young tackle he will be able to handle DE and get to the second level to help our RB out.
TE-Todd Heap-A great run blocker who is not afraid to go over the middle and take a painful hit, a reliable redzone target as well. He is athletic enough that we can line him up at WR and he can provide blocking for screen passes to Moss or Evans.

4-3 Defense

DE-Terrell Suggs- will be a great speed rusher and will get pressure on the QB and stop the run. He is quick and fast enough to get to runs to the outside. He brings 12+ sack potential
DT-Richard Seymour-A big run stuffer that will keep double teams off of Suggs and provide bull rush ability. He will keep blockers off of our LB and let them roam free. He is also athletic enough to gobble up a hole and shed a block to make the tackle. He brings 6+ sack potential
DT-Jamal Williams- He is the big boy, he gobbles up a ton of people, he could attract the whole interior line, with his brute strength and being paired next to Peppers and Seymour he will keep them free from double teams and he is athletic enough to fill up a hole if the o-line can make one. Some may bring up the age, but look at Ted Washington, he is playing well at 38 years of age and he will be 39 next season,he could be the dad of basically half of this message board and still play at a good level so Jamal could be a pro bowler in 4 years.
DE-Jullius Peppers- A freak of nature that can bull rush or beat a tackle with his speed. With the DT next to him he has no worries a bout double teams so he can make plays. He brings 14+ sack potential.
OLB-Bobby Carpenter- A athletic LB who can cover well, and blitz well also, he wont get hung up on any blocks at 260 pounds, he will be able to handle TE in the passing game.
MLB-Bart Scott- He is one mean run stuffer. He is just a play maker, he had a 9.5 sack and 100 tackle season. He is just a play maker. one heck of a blitzer andone bad hitter, ask Ben Rothlisberger.
OLB-Derrick Johnson- A great coverage player. He is athletic enough to cover RB and blitz off the edge. He wont have to worry about getting o-lineman at him with that d-line.
CB-Lito Shepperd- He can cover well and brings good speed. He won't get beat badly.
FS-Ken Hamlin-A good FS who will pair up well with Roy Williams
SS-Roy Williams- He hits so hard he can bring great momentum changes, will make teams think twice about sending WR up the middle, in rar cases that a RB gets past the front 7 he can shut him down
CB-Asomugha- A playmaking CB who many people thought should be a pro bowler.
CB-Antonio Cromartie-A good nickel back who has all world potenial, he will develope into a stud.

3-4 defense

DE-Richard Seymour- The best 3-4 DE in the business, he will demand a double team and strong enough to get sacks at this position.
DT-Jamal Williams- The best 3-4 DT in the league. He demands double teams and can shut down a hole at the blink of an eye.
DE-Jullius Peppers- A beastly athlete, good enough for a double team, strong enough to beat it, fast enough to beat it also. Brings great pass rush from this spot as well.
OLB-Terrell Suggs- A quick pass rusher who can get 12+ sacks from here, he can also drop back into coverage also.
ILB-Bart Scott- Will bring a great pass rush from here and mean run stuffing player. He can also cover with since he can play 4-3 OLB so he can pick up TE or RB
ILB-Derrik Johnson- A good coverage LB will be all over the field making plays, with his d-line up front he won't have to worry about getting blocked a lot.
OLB-Bobby Carpenter- He brings ILB and OLB versatility. He can cover TE or RB plus bring good blitzing from this spot as well. Can shed blocks at 260 pounds as well.

What are you going to do when you have what will be a 36-37 year old player with Jason Taylor, he will lose his athleticism and he will probably retire by then.

The thing is I never said anything about a KR/PR in the first place, also I already made the Jason Taylor comment about his age, I will have to think about it.

Chucky
03-25-2007, 12:36 AM
thanks, and the jason taylor thing has come up many times so i already knew about it, but i was willing to take a risk, and the reason i thought u needed a KR was because i remeber someone taking hester earlier, and there is no reason to take him if Kick returning doesnt count

I dont think he should be able to change his pick because if you wouldnt have said anything about Jason Taylor he wouldnt want to change his pick. Its like hes doing it just to make his team better for the votes and not because he messed up with a pick. Like I had to change my Shane Olivea pick because I accidentally took 3 tackles instead of a 2 gaurds and 2 tackles, What he is doing is taking someone elses criticism of his team and trying to make it better. But in the end its up to you ravens. If he is going to make a big deal out of it it would probably be easier just to give him his way.

Thats what I have thought, I brought up how Taylor was gonna be when he was 36. Plus when UK fan took over for #10, #10 didnt like some picks and I said he couldnt change him. So I figured that a vote would be the best thing.

so far 2 votes no and 2 votes yes.

With 9 teams I think we can do a pigtail.

Ravens1991
03-25-2007, 03:12 PM
I am looking at other options, I think 2 people pig-tail and 1 person gets a by at the opposite bracket should work.

islandboy843
03-25-2007, 03:17 PM
who will get the by

Ravens1991
03-25-2007, 04:06 PM
I think I will do that randomly, I need to make sure it will work though.

Ravens1991
03-25-2007, 04:35 PM
I will do Inkie Binkie Bonkey to find our who gets the by, and Eyne Meanie Miney moe for the pig-tail person, then I will post who they will play by going by my original 1 VS. 10, 2 VS. 8 to make the pig-tail match. I know it is childish but we can make sure I don't cheat.

Offense: I got some maulers on the line, who are gonna wear your D-line down over a the period of a game, so were gonna pound LT all day and then throw over the top to Ocho Cinco & some crossing routes to Boldin & Shockey so they can run over the secondary, Smith is one of the toughest players in the NFL and best run blockers he will be lighting up the linebackers.

Defense: it all starts with the front 4 who will get pressure in the back field and reek some havoc, I got Ballhawks at all of my LB and S positions and 2 quality corners who can play man or zone, Cato June can come in on 3rd and long or obvious passing situations to pass rush

I show CCB taking Mughelli at 12:04am (EST) after Ravens said it was okay for people make their remaining two picks. CCB took David Diehl OG and Ovie Mughelli FB for his final 2 picks, just after midnight on Saturday night. You picked Mughelli yesterday at 2:19pm. CCB informed you that he'd already taken him, and you changed your pick to Ahmard Hall FB.
