I think this was a good quality pick up for STL, they didn't even give up a pick outright for him, and he looked very good as a rookie coming out...Now he has a chance to win that #2 spot and he's the front runner right now.

i always liked him and think he has the potential to shine in STL. he's a formidable vertical threat and has good size. i think its an even deal because the falcons have a surplus of these mediocre receivers in douglas and finneran so robinson became expendable.

Good pick up for the Rams. We didn't give up much and he is going to have a good chane to start.

Rams pretty much got a rookie WR.

There were times as a rookie that he looked better than Roddy White. I really thought at one time that he and White would make a nice combination eventually. Not sure exactly what happened with the new coaching staff, but they obviously didn't see him as part of the team's future.

ILLINOIS STATE!!!

But the key is for Laurent to toughen up a bit more and play through dings and bruises. I hope he succeeds however and for a team without much I think he can get on the field.

I think its a great trade for the Rams. I have always liked Laurent Robinson's skill set and thought he had potential to be a solid #2 receiver. When the new FO came in though, he was just in the dog house because of an early injury.

With Roddy White as a legit #1, Michael Jenkins emerging as a solid #2, and Harry Douglas possessing the perfect skill set for a slot receiver, Laurent became expendable. Maybe Tom Dmitroff is targeting some guys at the top of rd. 5 and 6.

I agree with those saying this is a great trade for the Rams. They got a player who could potentially start for them this season and all they gave up was draft position in the 5th and 6th rounds. Can't ask for much more than that.

Now if the Falcons end up drafting some stars with those picks...;)

Seems like a lot of Falcon fans say he has tons of "potential" hopefully we see that in St. Louis.
