I thought this was old news? Anyways, just another reason I dislike Itunes.

Doesn't Apple rape people enough with their over-priced products?

So we've got 50 million people who are completely oblivious to reality. I couldn't even fathom that.

They are wiping out the protection stuff on all the songs though, which is nice. And the music companies get to decide the price. .69, .99, or 1.29. So, the prices have gone up, but they have also gone down since some are now only 69 cents.

i've only bought 2 albums from itunes. k'naan's newest one and a jim gaffigan comedy one. this doesn't really affect me, but it is interesting.

I'll never pay to download one song. I'll buy a CD if I like the music, though.. and I haven't bought a CD in a long damn time.

I think what's even more ridiculous is YouTube removing audio tracks from some videos because of the music. What's so terrible about watching a music video?

Damn, I've got like a dollar left on an old iTunes gift card...

Copyright infringement?

You'd think so, but apparently youtube has begun removing videos and suspending accounts involving any copyrights, even if they're by the copyright holder. Or so I've heard.

I sometimes buy iTunes music, just cuz I hate starting up limewire. But hopefully the album prices don't go up much, if at all.
