Former NFL player Travis Henry has signed a plea deal with prosecutors in which he admits to a single cocaine conspiracy charge in exchange for two other charges being dropped.

Under a plea deal filed with the court Tuesday, the 30-year-old Henry will admit to conspiracy to possess at least 11 pounds of cocaine with intent to distribute the drug.

If U.S. District Judge Richard Cebull accepts the plea, Henry faces a mandatory minimum 10 years to life in prison, $4 million fine and at least five years of supervised release.

Wow, what a crazy story. I can't imagine why he would be dabbling in the drug trade when he was making the money he was legally in the NFL. If you're that greedy, wait until your playing career's over at least.

That's what happens when you father 11 children. All of his money is gone from child support payments.

Peter King will not allow this. Henry needs to speak at the Rookie Symposium damnit.

The (Insert Name Here) Is In Trouble With the Law Thread -- Again, that thread makes much more sense than wasting the time talking about this loser.

hmmm...... Travis Henry played for the Titans (before the Broncos), Matt Jones played for the Jaguars, so they got to see each other twice a year.

I think we figured out who Jones' dealer was.

The only problem with that is that people want to see headlines. They don't want to have to read through a thread to find out if someone may or may not be in trouble. Journalism 101, you have to have the eye-catching headline.

I know reporters/paparazzi/etc etc eat it up as do readers... My point is, these guys aren't worth our time. Or atleast they shouldn't be.

Why would that matter to him? If he isnt bitching about coffee or hotels, he has nothing other that his pampered existence to talk about.

*Shakes head at the idea of Henry having as big of a sentence as rapists and killers*

A cookie would be nice... My point was Travis Henry is NOT worth our time. For a guy who I rooted for when he was with Buffalo, it's just a shame he's fallen off the map that way.

Go cry emo kid? Come on now.

Maybe it's just me, but I find it to be a very interesting story, if only for how much of a dumbass he is.

YES that is all I am saying. It's sad that some of the biggest reported sports stories are these idolized athletes I immortalize and look up to...doing dumbass stuff thinking they are above the law. That's all.

Meh...I think he's more stupid for getting ten different women pregnant. You'd think he would have realized how expensive it is to have a kid and figured out how to wear a condom after the third one. Yet, it's perfectly legal to have as many kids as you ******* want.

Middle manning blow...now that can be a very profitable enterprise if you need cash quick and you already have some capital to invest in it. You're going to hear more and more about this kind of stuff as the economy worsens.

Prostitution rises a lot in recessions, as does the demand for prostitutes.

It's ridiculous you can't in America. It it legal to sell things, and it is legal to have sex. Why isn't it legal to sell sex?
