If you don't like a pick, that's fine, just tell me why you don't like it, and who you would pick instead.

good cowboys pick

i personally, despite timmons 'poor' combine would prefer him to paul poz but its a good giants pick nonetheless

Nice job with the Green & Gold

Great Buc pick

03-07-2007, 03:24 PM
bad Ravens pick. we have many more pressing needs than CB.

Good 1st pick for NE with Revis, but we probably wont go DB twice rpund 1. ILB or WR would be the pick there.

I have to agree with my fellow giant fans. Timmons over Pos.

I expect the Giants to trade down and take him though.

03-07-2007, 06:44 PM
Its an OK Eagles pick, but Timmons is a possibility as well.

good bucs pick

Don't have a problem with the Lions pick.

03-07-2007, 10:09 PM
Alan branch would be a better pick but Anderson is a solid pick

03-07-2007, 10:11 PM
A++ Vikings pick

03-07-2007, 10:34 PM
i like the steelers pick cuz i want moss but then again i think he dropped because of the combine so id take spencer or whatever

03-07-2007, 10:55 PM
I could live with that pick.

Excellent Vikings Pick

I don't understand the Dwayne Bowe pick. Carolina still has Smith, Johnson, Carter (6'4 4.33 speed, developing still), and Colbert (2nd round pick). The new OC is a Charlie Weis disciple in that he doesn't need stud receivers. Look at who the Pats had all those years. No one really jumps out at you. TE will be addressed before WR. Plus there are too many holes on defense to ignore, especially safety.

Like the draft, only reach I see is Bowe.

03-08-2007, 05:12 PM
bad pick , especially after the eric johnson signing.

03-08-2007, 05:21 PM
branch makes me happy

03-08-2007, 05:24 PM
great SF pick

03-09-2007, 10:13 PM
bad Ravens pick. we have many more pressing needs than CB.

like what? OLB? i don't think so after we just resigned jj to a nice new deal. lawrence timmons could be an option. despite the poor combine i still have him as the top OLB in the draft and as a 20-25 range talent.

OT or OG are bigger needs, but there is no one that warrants the 29th pick. joe staley, tony ugoh are reaches and justin blalock will be nowhere near the first round come draft time. i will say that aaron sears may be an option because he can play guard or tackle.

thanks for the other comments guys.

two picks i will address are the dwayne bowe pick and the paul poz pick.

dwayne bowe to carolina: there may not be one pick harder to project than carolina. obviously they would love to get their hands on one of the top two signal callers, but without a trade up it is extremely unlikely. laron landry is another dream scenario, but again, without a trade up there is no chance for him. OLB would be a great place to look, but there is no one in this draft that warrants a top 15 selection. than we come to safety. reggie nelson looked to be out of the top 15 after his combine performance. than came his pro day, where he performed well. this could put him in the top 15 mix, but teams and scouts put more stock into the combine. for me it was between him and bowe. here is the reasoning for bowe: steve smith is great. we all know that, he's the top receiver in the game right now if you ask me. keyshawn is still solid but obviously he is getting older and probably won't be more than a nice 60 catch per season possession guy. drew carter is a guy that alot of people are high on, including me. someone correct me if i am wrong, but i believe carter is an upcoming FA. with his age and potential, and all of the money being thrown around now, he should be in for a HUGE payday, and i don't see the panthers shelling out the money for him. keary colbert was a guy i really liked coming out of USC(i wanted the Ravens to nab him in the 03draft). he had a very nice rookie year but has regressed terribly and i don't see him as more than a possession slot guy. bowe is a big, strong, physical guy who would be a perfect compliment to smith.

paul posluszny to new york: now you may not find a bigger poz hater than me, but after running in the 4.6's i don't see him falling out of the first. i feel its pretty clear that the g-men will look to improve their linebacking core or their secondary in the 1st round. either a guy like revis, poz, or timmons. it comes down to which player is the highest on their board. obviously i have no clue who that will be, so i just took a stab at it and said poz.

hope that helps everyone out.
