what the Seahawks and 49ers are going to do with their first round selections, these picks are really stumping me. Keep in mind:
Seattle signed Housmanzadeh and half alot of money locked up in wide receiver, they likely aren't good enough to select someone for depth (like Sanchez or Monroe) and there is good depth at tackle.
The 49ers recently signed Max Starks, and extended Parys Harlson and it is becoming clear that the 49ers will not look at QB imo.

So with that said assuming Stafford, Smith and Curry are off the board who do you think will be the Seahawks selection.
Asumming that Raji, Oher and all the top pass rushers excluding Orakpo are gone who will the 49ers select...

I'd say Sanchez, Monroe, or maybe (longshot) Crabtree. Not many other players fit IMO.

I think the Seahawks will go Eugene Monroe if he's there. If it's between Curry and Monroe, I think they'll go BPA with Curry, he's just the safest pick in the draft, I think he can play any LB spot in any system. If he isn't the pick should definitely be the offensive line, they need to protect Matt Hasselback or whoevers undercenter. Plus, Walter Jones is coming off an injury and is 35 years old, his imminent replacement should be drafted.

For the 49ers, I believe Mark Sanchez would be the perfect guy for them. Sanchez lacks experience, so they have Shaun Hill to run the team temporarily while Sanchez learns the ropes. Sanchez could also start right out of the gate from day 1, I mean if a DII two rookie (Joe Flacco) can do it I am sure he can. I forgot to mention, I am very high on Sanchez, and though I know Stafford will be the #1 overall pick, I still like Sanchez better in the NFL. Sanchez has the leadership, the passion, the arm strength, and the accuracy to be a franchise QB. I think if he is there, the 49ers should pick him.

Differant opinions all over Seattle on what direction they should go. One camp figures this is their best chance to get a franchise QB for the next decade, even if Matt plays a year or two more. The other side sites a replacement for Walter Jones and very few are talking Aaron Curry. Curry would be a nice choice but as Scott pointed out they didnt win with a top notch LB corps and they can probably fill that need in the 2nd or 3rd rounds.

My guess is it's somewhere between trade down and Sanchez although an inside medical report on Walter Jones will probably sway their choice one way or the other.

Maybin or Jenkins

Mark Sanchez to Seattle, Michael Oher to San Francisco. I think those are the best bets right now, maybe Brian Orakpo or Aaron Maybin to San Francisco.

I think Seattle either grabs their LT or QB of the future... and I think the board is gonna allow them to get Sanchez and not Monroe/Smith so thats the direction I see.
San Francisco could go lots of directions.... Raji, DE/OLB, Jenkins, OT, QB, too hard to tell at the moment.

Where San Francisco goes with their pick is largely dependent on what happens above them and if they can pull off a trade.

Generally agreed team needs are: RT, CB, OLB (My order, but others have OLB above CB)

SF should be taking an offensive tackle at #10. If not, then it should be Raji as they've lacked a NT for 5 years now. So, I guess it should be Andre Smith or Michael Oher and only Raji before those two.

His initial question is what the 49ers would do if all those players weren't available.
