I didn't think it was possible for me to hate Demonte Bolden anymore than I already do.

I really don't get these things and have never caught on.

Why aren't they all out of the same amount??
Why is one guy X/35 and another guy X/40 and another guy X/50??

There's a time limit and 50 questions. It's designed so that it is difficult to finish all the questions so many guys don't get through them all.

So do guys that only complete 17 but get 15 of them right look worse than guys that completed the whole thing but only got 23 right??

I think it's more about, do you take it seriously and really, if you even tried in college, you can get most those questions right as they are just multiple step problems that require you to think logically.

Also, Stephen McGee 35 out of 44, win. haha. Kevin Barnes got 41 out of 50, that's really good.

I take it it isn't open to the public?? And it doesn't ask any football related questions??

ESPN posted a sample a long time ago: http://espn.go.com/page2/s/closer/020228test.html those kinds of questions but 50 of them and you dont have a lot of time to waste.

take it you didnt read the article?

if it lists a guy as 23/35

that means he got 23 right, and answered 35 out of a possible 50 questions

LSU is consistently cranking out mental underachievers...

line from a Randy Newman song:

We've got college men from LSU
Go in dumb, come out dumb too

Interesting....how does one decline 17 points the second time you take it??

Of course I didn't read the article. Why would I do that when I could ask you guys and get an answer in much simpler form??

Thanks for the help.

No. It's still a 15. 15/17 is the same score as 15/50. The second number is just telling you how many questions they got through.

Wow, too bad Nate Davis can't return for his Senior year. He seems less and less like an NFL QB the more you see from him. I don't care what anyone says about "THE WONDERLIC DOESNT MEAN ANYTHING!1!!" That's a really scary score for a QB to have.

these guys were in college?

also, i could have sworn nate davis legitimately has a learning disability. i think they said that during the skills competition.

Considering the goal of taking the Wonderlic exam is to score as high as possible, yes. Guys who get 15/17 rightfully look worse than guys who score 23/50.

I have a learning disability too. It makes it harder to learn things like large books full of complex football plays. Even the smartest QB's have to work really really hard to master a playbook. Davis will likely need to put in significantly more hours of work than even the hardest working NFL QB's. It may not even be possible to put in the kind of hours he will need to and still get enough sleep and have anything resembling a social life.

That was the easiest thing I've ever seen......wow. Any 8th grader should be able to pass that with flying colors.

I was thinking after his prep year. He was indeed the #1 prep player out of Hargrave. Here's his profile-

Marko Mitchell and Lee Robinson doing so poorly hurts. I was very fond of those two guys as late round sleepers at WR and SLB respectively, but if they're to dumb to learn what they need to learn to succeed at their positions that puts a damper on things. Still like both guys but that's a disappointing result.

What I really don't get is how you do worse on your second test than your first. Shouldn't you have a better understanding of the questions you're going to be asked?

The Wonderlic is nothing even close to an indicator of how well a prospect can learn to play football.

Tough week for Demetrius Byrd. His stock has taken a big hit in the past week.
