Did you mean to butcher two words in the title and then another in the post? I'm never sure on this site...

Peria Jerry and Michael Oher are possible. Rey Maualuga and Kaluka Maiava are possibilities as well. Stanley Arnoux and Ricky Jean-Francois perhaps. We'll see...

I can see Pannel Egboh's name get butchered, simply because that first vowel sound is an "uh" not an "a".

Don't be dumb.
I wasn't implying that ALL Islanders are Hawaiin.
I strickly meant- all HAWAIIN prospects.

Tagliabue not only butchered Nnamdi Asomugha's pronunciation he called him by his surname first. The Commissioner only calls the players names for the 1st rd and Scrabble was the last pick of the 1st rd in 2003. Poor Tags must have been cursing Al Davis under his breath for that one. :)

Haha... You mean Hawaiian? ...and they're not Hawaiian, except for Maiava. They're mostly Samoan or Tongan.

First of all there's only 1. And second of all, you tried to sum up all of the names I posted as being HAWAIIAN. It's cool, you're not the only one in this world.

I'm not getting worked up. Just a little irritated. First you lying and then calling me dumb. But to clear it all up. There's only 1 HAWAIIAN prospect.

I think of it as how, from what I see here in the South, a lot of people refer to any one who is from Central America, South America and several Caribbean locations, as "Mexicans" because they might remotely look the part.

I could of swore there were more Hawaiian prospects.
My wife doesn't like football but tries to act like she does from time to time
She does get excited (as excited as she can get about football) when I point out Hawaiian and Samoan prospects.

Like I also said- I'm Puerto Rican.
I think I've been called Mexican 876987837093870939837983798098904 times in my life.
I wouldn't do the same thing to someone else- regardless of their background.

Normally I let people off the hook with grammar mistakes, but I had to comment in this one. Too ironic....and awful.

But of course there's Sniper with the 1st reply to cement himself as top grammar Nazi 2009.

He had to have done that on purpose....never in my life have I seen the word Get's.

I think Peria Jerry's name gets pronounced as "pariah."

For the commentators, I'll go with Everette Pedescleaux, but it looks harder than it really is.

People these days just like to throw random apostrophes before an "s" for some reason, so it could be a mistake. I love how the thread title, literally taken, means "Who is name get is butchered?". It has to be on purpose.

24cadillac24 referred to the Bucs as the "Buc's" at least 100s of times. It happens.

I'm still not certain how to pronounce William Beatty's last name.

For 2 years I've said Bay-Tee just like the actor Warren Beatty.

I've heard it said as Beet-E.
