View Full Version : Jeremy Maclin- Does This Guy Deserve Top 10 Consideration?
I don't see how they can justify calling this guy a top 10 pick right now.
He was supposed to be a 4.2 40 type of guy and that didn't turn out to be true and I believe he was shorter than listed as well.
I almost feel as if the media is going to sucker the Raiders into taking this guy.
Percy Harvin deserves more top 10 consideration than that guy. Jeremy Maclin is COMPLETELY unproven as a route runner even more than Harvin.
This guy just has the feel of Troy Williamson to me.

No, I think he's got a high bust potential. More of a mid-first round player to me.

I really like him alot but like I have said before when all is said and done I feel he will be a slot WR as well as a KR/PR I would not want to use a top ten pick for that.

People think he's a better route runner than Harvin because he has more catches but it couldn't be further from the truth. He looks horrible coming out of his breaks and isn't laterally quick. I think he profiles more as a slot WR and not much else. I think he's the most likely to bust.

I'm going to say no on the top 10 consideration even though I've been high on Maclin since his soph year.

I like Maclin. You can knock his 40 time all day but the fact is, on the field, this guy blows by defenses. His breaks aren't perfect and his routes could use work, but he's talented and could turn into a real gem.

I like him but definitely not in the Top 10. Could just be me, though.

I fail to see anything that makes him a top 10 pick. I didn't think he was before the combine, and I definitely didn't think so after.

Im starting to warm up to him more since we are probably going to draft him. Top 10? No. top 15? yes. I really hope we trade down with Washington or Denver or NYJ. We Need Picks !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
