Seems most people are unhappy with the draft, so lets see what you would have done differently. You have to pick where Dallas picked with no trade ups, however you don't have to trade down at 51 but you also don't get the extra picks we got in the trade down. This will be fun to see who the best "GM" is and if we truly know more than our scouts. Do it now, before anybody plays a down. Its easy to say we should have picked so and so after you see them play so who's game?

Oh, and the player you pick has to be available at that time.

I won't go too deep because I forget the picks. Here's what I would've done:

With the 2nd I would've taken Sean Smith.

With the first 3rd it would've been Duke Robinson.

Didn't Gilbert go in the 4th?I would've taken him with the second third, and Jason Williams would've been my first 4th. After that everything is fair game since players picked then are bound to be personal favorites. I was thinking Sidbury or so, but you can't fault the 'Boys for having two end with better on field production over a workout warrior. The only reason to be pissed is that they could've been had later I guess. As always time will tell. You don't "win" or "lose" the draft until about 3 years or so. We'll see how it really went down then.

If I didn't change anything else, at least I would have packaged two 5ths for a 2010 4th or something for a future pick or two. Especially when a lot of "experts" have declared this a pretty weak draft overall.
