I don't know what the name is, but it reminds me of the Civil War. A beard where only your chin is shaved. So it comes down your sideburns and down the the side of your face, but then only has a moustache.

I tried growing out a beard last year. I lasted 2 months, it was really shaggy, but then I had to let it go. It just itched way too much, and people starting thinking I was older than I really am.
One thing I like is people tell me I look younger than my age, so when I got a beard, I lost that. So now Im a clean shaven guy. Its a pain though, I have to shave every other day.

Yeah, I really hate shaving. Now I have to do it because I actually have a job (though I still keep the mustache intact), but before when I was unemployed I looked like Bill Walton.

I know, I wish some days I could just go all shaggy and scruffy. Im trying to shave every 3 days now. The less you shave, the slower it grows back. Right now, I only shave when I absolutely have to. If I want to look clean shaven every day, Id probably have to shave every day. And that sucks.

I shave once a week. Its a hell of a lot easier and no one cares in my office how shaggy I look. And quite frankly neither do I.

I've tried this before and it backfires miserably. I ended up running into some girl that I was pursuing on a thursday, and I was rocking the serious beard scruff in combination with a full grown mustache. Let's just say that I never heard from her again.

I put ice on it when it gets itchy. It takes a while for it to get that bad though, maybe 2 weeks. I usually shave once a week because after that it starts to look bad.

Exactly. I shave when I have a lot of time in the mornings, and that happens to be on the weekends. My girlfriend prefers me a little scruffy, anyways.
I will, however, usually do the quick mustache removal. That takes like 3 seconds, and I just hate mustaches horribly.

I was unfortunate in that my genetics required me to start shaving at the ripe old age of 8 because of some hormonal thing which is also the reason I stopped growing when I was 15 at 5'8" so I am almost 18 and I already rock the 5 o'clock shadow every night. All my friends were jealous though until they could grow beards. I have had a chin strap for the past year or so now though. Chin straps are tough, plus I look like I am 15 without it. When I do grow it out in the summer, it only hurt once when I had an infection in one of the pores where a hair was growing.

I prefer the method where you keep your work email open on a separate tab and just quickly switch over to it when the boss is around. That way when they leave you can just flip right back over to where you just were. http://www.nfldraftcountdown.com/forum/images/icons/icon6.gif
