View Full Version : What team is your most hated NFL team?

GiantRutgersFan

Outside of your division, of course.

I got to say.... San Diego Chargers. There fans are all a bunch of bandwagoners who hopped on within the last 3 years. Beyond that, there thug players, such as the 8 who got arrested this season, and Shawn Merriman, really grind my gears.

Plus the fact that they gush over freaking Nate Kaedman who screwed up 2 consecutive playoff games via missed field goals....

So what is your most hated nfl team, outiside of your division?

Do you enjoy always being wrong? Or are you that immature that you feel the need to create a new thread every time to make a point about how cheated you feel about getting Eli instead of Rivers, Merriman, and Kaeding?
Seriously, the other Giants fan don't go to all the trouble of trolling the San Diego Board. Heck not even the Raider's fan. Which just goes to show that you really care too much if you're going to keep posting all this nonsense.

Oakland. This dates back to the Pittsburgh Steelers/Oakland Raiders rivalry in the '70's, which was an excellent rivalry.

Way to generalize Charger fans bud. I guess I would be mad to about getting fleeced in a trade but thatís beside the point.

If I had a most hated team it is probably the Raiders/Broncos but in reality it is whoever the Chargers are currently playing.

people hating on oakland. to me its either KC,SF or DEN. i hate KC cuz there a division rival and people in KC killed Mac Dre. SF is just well u know. and then theres den. shannahan(sp?) sucked as a raider coach then is doing good with them. we have had so good games with all them though

GiantsRutgersFan,

You gotta get a grip bro. So your team got owned in the Eli trade. Get over it man.

Giants vs. Dallas is much more of a rivalry.

Both teams need to have worked the other to have a real rivalry. In the case of the Chargers vs. Giants, the Chargers completely owned you so there really isn't a rivalry, just sour grapes on your part.

EASILY the New England Patriots. Finally seeing the Colts win it all was made all the sweeter by defeating them in the process.

First of all, stop saying garbage about the Giants just because one poster sometimes says some very outlandish comments with that being said...

I hate the New England Patriots. Mostly because they cheered "Yankees Suck" at their parade when they won it in 2001. Just disgraceful. Also, as a Pats fan, don't get mad at the team for not winning it for a couple of years, you got enough championships for awhile. Allow other teams to get some...like the Giants. =D

Also, how many times has someone posted a "most hated team" thread?

Outside of our division, it's definitely the 49ers. I think most Cowboys fans (my age) would agree. My older brother and I got into fist fights over that rivalry.

GODDAMMIT GRF. Stop posting in the NFL forums, youre giving us a bad name. Stick to the Giants team board where you have an opinion on the team and our needs etc and provide some insight. Don't come onto the NFL board and spray Giant homerism all over the place. We all take a hit when you do that.

And as for the topic, its hard for me to pick a team outside of the division. I mean seriously, Giant fans have plenty of hate for Philly, Washington and Dallas, I don't know if theres any room for anyone else outside of the division.

Im assuming the entire AFC North must loathe the Steelers with a passion. Especially Bengal and Browns fans.

Historically though, I think the Browns hate the Bengals more. The Bengals were created to stick it to the Browns. Paul Brown wanted revenge, and they even named the stadium after the defuncted former Cleveland coach.

Paul Brown is like Jerusalem for Browns and Bengals fans. Both parties are claiming rights to him, and the beef among old school heads is still not forgotten.

Hey, John Elway sure prevented that elusive SB appearance you all lack. 99 yards, impressive.

Ravens and Steelers. It wasn't so bad last year, I really hated Ray/Porter but neither were that effective last year against us and I really was annoyed by Big Ben but it was hard to be that way last year. I also hate them because they're the only two other competitive teams in our division.

I don't know if I could narrow it down to any particular reason. Maybe it's the smug arrogance they've had this past decade. They act as if they're the class of the NFL, even though they have exactly one SB title since the Noll 70s. In the America's Game profile on the '04 Patriots, how Joey Porter claimed that the Patriots "weren't ever on our level." Despite the fact that the Patriots were on pace to be a dynasty and the Steelers didn't do anything worth noting. They all act as if they are the most physical team in the NFL, at all times. Hines Ward dancing routines. Their plethora of transplant fans. Jerome Bettis treated as if he is a great RB. Hines Ward being a Hall of Fame type WR, because he can "block." Those stupid towels. Scorchin.

Ugh

Hmmm....

Division - I don't like the Chargers and I REALLY don't like the Chiefs. For some reason I've always been lukewarm towards the Broncos, in fact I kinda like them. Weird.

Rest of the NFL - It's interesting that so many bucs fans hate the Raiders, but don't worry kids, your feelings won't go unrequited. I dislike the Bucs and pretty much every fan of theirs I've met in real life. I'm not sure if it's because they beat us in the Super Bowl or b/c they always screw up my bets, but I just really dislike that team in general. *shrugs* Oh, and I'll cheer for most teams when the play the Colts.
