aldridge is not a top10 runner imo (and I say that as a ND fan). Jimmy however should be mentioned in the qb department with the juniors

See, you say that, but you posted all of that consecutively, so it's going to be clustered anyway unless you're going to introduce a fancy sig.

LaGarrette Blount behind those 4 fours is laughable. He is a 6'2" 240 pounder with 4.5 speed that ran for 1,000 yards and 17 TD's as a backup.

Something seems off here.

Kam Chancellor is a SS, and he's a top caliber player there. He was moved to FS last year and he had a down year. His freshman year was his best when he was at the ROV position. He's a strong safety at the next level all day, and he's a great one at that.

Reshad Jones is a rangy ballhawk with incredible size and athleticism. He's a FS prospect, and he should be neck and neck with Taylor Mays. Kid has potential.

Major Wright is probably better off playing in the box as a SS. He doesn't have the same kind of range as Reggie Nelson, and he's more of a head hunter.

I don't know why everyone even bothers to rank Rolle. He's not playing football after college, and he's also an extremely overrated player.

Nay. Zoltan is great, but LSU freshman-to-be Barkevious Mingo just won the Name of the Year contest.

maybe im crazy but i really like some of the underclass linebackers more than the hyped up seniors in this upcoming draft. i think it will be real interesting to see who declares.

I'm feelin the Syracuse love man! Mike Williams as the 5th WR and Art Jones 3rd DT. Even as a Syracuse fan I may say that's a little high for both but I'm not complaining!

You are right about Jr. OT Kyle Hix. I'm not sure how many people know about him, but he his massive and was (imo) Texas best O-Lineman last season. If he takes the next step as a player this season, I think he will end up being a high to mid 1st round pick in the 2011 draft.

I think WR Jordan Shipley might need to be a little higher on the list.

I think Texas Sr. CB Deon Beasley will have a better season and find himself on some draft list.

REALLY WATCH OUT FOR Jr. CB's for Texas Chykie Brown and Curtis Brown. Both are freaks athletically, and Chykie has drawn a few comparisons to Antonio Cromartie with Chykie's athleticism and his long 6'1 frame.

I'm glad you put Sr. OLB Roddrick Muckelroy on your list as well. He is a BEAST at his spot. If he can get stronger and get his body where it needs to be, I think he will play 10+ years in the league.

Also watch out for Jr OG Michael Huey and Sr. MLB Jared Norton.

Texas Homer
05-08-2009, 06:55 PM
I also think DE Carlos Dunlap will end up getting drafted really high if he has a really good season like some expect him too.

Klint Kubiak – Colorado State- Good call.I've only watched him play twice, but he looks really technically sound and is usually around the ball.

I think SS Kurt Coleman – Ohio State is underrated.

Marvin Austin is the most overrated player I've seen on him. Outside of high five star recruiting rating - what has he done to merit any NFL consideration? He is non-exsistent against the run, overweight and puts himself out of position on a regular basis.

Reshad Jones should be neck and neck with Taylor Mays? You're out of your mind.

Major Wright can play either safety spot. The SS/FS differentiation is dying anyway -- you've got to have range and some coverage ability to play in the NFL today.
