He's a 6'4 271 DE from East Carolina. He's coming off a huge junior year with 10.5 sacks, 18.5 TFL's and 70 tackles. Wilson is a pure 4-3 DE; something that is hard to find in the draft today. He's powerful but he's also got good explosion and quickness. Although he may get overlooked because of this DE class, with another big year he could be in the first round discussion.

What else do you guys no about him and where do you guys think he projects?

Is anyone suppose to know what the hell you're talking about?

Anyway, he's a LDE all day, and he reminds me of the bust that is, Kenichi Udeze. Really isn't all that spectacular and with a season that is as good as last year, should see a solid second round grade. Like Kenichi he's rather boring. He kind of looks like a DT at times. Seems really slow. I don't see the "quick or explosive" in his game.

I am a big fan of CJ (see sig). I think he's a fringe day one selection, but with a big year he could creep up into the high 2nd round range. I don't think he'll end up in the first round, but it wouldn't surprise me if he does.

I saw Wilson as high as a 2nd rounder in some 2010 mocks.

I think he could bulk up and play 34 DE. If not, 43 DE or 34 OLB(if he loses weight) could be an option.

I said 1st potential but that's a bit of a stretch. The more I watch him the guy he reminds me of is Phillip Merling. They are similar size and have similar athletic ability but I think Wilson is a better pass rusher where as Merling was probably a bit stronger against the run.

Also, I find it funny how nobody is a 4-3 DE anymore. If a guy is 265 and athletic, people want to make him an OLB in a 3-4. If a guy is 275, people want to bulk him up to play the 5-tech in a 3-4. I find that quite strange. I think Wilson is rare, pure 4-3 DE.
