Quite a change coming into 2009.

Last year the news was all these great young QBs in the AFC West: Cutler, Rivers and Russell. And the discussion here in KC was whether or not Croyle could measure up.

Now Cutler is gone. Russell has not been very good, and it won't surprise me if Garcia doesn't get some of his playing time. And the Chiefs went out and got Cassel.

So who is best off at QB in 2009?

Chiefs: Cassel / Thigpen
Raiders: Russell / Garcia
Broncos: Orton / Simms
Chargers: Rivers / Volek

It's Rivers.

btw this forum is DEAD. It has been killed by division-wide mediocrity. I recommend starting enough threads to fill the entire first page and then claiming the entire board as your uncontested realm.

Philip Rivers for now...and we'll see how Cassel does this season, but he is No. 2 right now.
