Like the title says this is a roster of the NFLs greatest thugs.

Rules-
-Player must have gotten in trouble off the feild
-Players can be cut and will be put on cut list if they are not deemed thug enough and you give a good reason to why they should be cut.
-Players on the cut list can also make it onto the roster agian if everyone else agrees he is indeed a thug.

Marshall assaulted a cop, was with Darrent Williams when he was shot and killed, DUIed, and has a laundry list of domestic violence incidents.

The team existed... it was the Steelers of the '70s... Steroids were illegal

Other people...

Warren Moon, QB - Beat his Wife
Jim Brown, FB - Beat his Wife
Randy Moss, WR - Pushed a meter maid with his car
Justin Strzelczyk, OL - After a hit and run accident, he led cops on a high speed chase ending with Strzelczyk hitting a tanker truck carrying corrosive acid at 90 miles per hour head on, RIP
Chris Terry, OT - Beat his Wife, though it should be said Terry slammed his wife's head into a wall and stuffed her head into a pillow while their kids watched.
Mark Gastineau, DE - Drugs, Assault, burned a chick with a cigarette
Eugene Robinson, S - Propositioned a hooker the night before the Superbowl
Gene Atkins, S - Barricaded himself in his home after his wife called the police claiming he beat her, bit her, etc and when the police came and said he was under arrest, he told them, "No, I'm not", punched a cop in the throat and pushed him out of his home before being tasered.
Samari Rolle, CB - Beat his Wife
Corey Fuller, CB - Hosted illegal card games at his home
Sebastian Janikowski, K - Basically being a hooligan
Todd Sauerbrun, P - DWI and driving with a revoked license

Nate Newton should be on this list as a guard

2. Nate Newton November 4, 2001 Looking to expand his employment opportunities following his career as a hefty NFL offensive lineman, Nate Newton was arrested with 213 ponds of marijuana in his car. That alone would be impressive enough but FIVE WEEKS LATER he was caught transporting another 175 pounds of weed.

Ryan Leaf at least needs to be mentioned...he didn't get into legal trouble but he was a first class douche.

Does anybody remember when Todd Marinovich got caught in the public bathroom cooking heroine with a bent spoon? I think he deserves a nod.

Mark Chumura at tight end? The incident with the 16 year old

Barrett Robins at center...how can you forget about that night before the super bowl and the incident when he attacked three police officers and got shot in the chest.

Nate Newton at OL he got caught with 200 lbs of weed.

Justin Strezclyk is the other Olineman. He led police on a high speed chase after a hit and run. The chase ended when he crashed his car into a truck full of flamable materials going out in a literal blaze of glory

Darrell Russell at DT. He loved drugs so much.

Bills DE Jim Dunaway should get a spot. He murdered his wife.

Gene Atkins at Safety. When he was arrested for firebombing somebody's house he told the cop "no I'm not" proceeded to punch him in the throat and ran away...among a long list of other things.

edit:
Maybe Mike Vanderjagt (the idiot kicker that got liquored up and ran his mouth) instead of Sea Bass?

He gets a pass because the charges never amounted to anything, and this is the first we have heard about it...If it pops up again(see:Larry Johnson) then yea you know where there is smoke there is fire, but I am always a little skeptical in these situations.

Now if some pictures showed up with her having a black eye, or some evidence starts piling up then sure, but it's premature now, has nothing to do with how he looks or carries himself...I'm not sure white bread is the term I'd use to classify him, he just strikes me as educated, point blank, every black man that can speak well or carries himself with some class in front of a camera shouldn't be considered 'white bread'.

Romanowski do?
He did a lot of stuff, because he's a piece of ****.

Romanowski has been involved in numerous altercations with both teammates and opponents. In 1995, while with the Eagles, he was ejected from a game — and subsequently fined $4,500 — for kicking Arizona Cardinals fullback Larry Centers in the head.[1]

Two more incidents occurred during the 1997 season while he played for the Broncos: In the first, he was fined $20,000 after his hit on then-Carolina Panthers quarterback Kerry Collins in a preseason game resulted in Collins sustaining a broken jaw;[1] in the second, Romanowski spat in the face of 49ers wide receiver J.J. Stokes in a regular-season game played in December on a Monday night in response to Stokes' taunting.[2] Two years later, while still with the Broncos, he was fined a total of $42,500 for three illegal hits plus a punch thrown at Kansas City Chiefs tight end Tony Gonzalez, and was also fined an undisclosed amount for throwing a football at Bryan Cox of the New York Jets, the ball hitting him in the crotch area.[3]

In 2003, Romanowski attacked and injured one of his teammates, Marcus Williams, during a scrimmage. Williams, a backup tight end for the Oakland Raiders, was forced to retire after Romanowski confronted Williams after a play, ripped off his helmet, and crushed his eye socket with a punch. [4] Williams sued for damages of $3.4 million, arguing that Romanowski had been suffering from "roid rage" when he attacked him. This argument was later rejected by the judge on the grounds that Williams could not prove that Romanowski had actually used steroids on the same day as the attack. Williams was awarded $340,000.

Ah yes, Carl Eller, master of the head slap. But he couldn't match Deacon Jones for it's use in the Old League, the NFL before the rules changes, when they developed refined techniques to eliminate the opponents star players (kind of like the NHL does today ).

Or render them useless in the game. Nothing better for that than the head slap, & no one did it better than Deacon Jones as a member of the Fearsome Foursome of the LA Rams (when they wore the blue & white unis). Jones once said that the best way to establish complete intimidation over the OT blocking you head-on was to use the strongest, most vicious head slap possible right on his outside earhole in the 1st offensive series, that way his ears rang all game long & he couldn't hear the snap count. O-linemen used to counter it by sharpening their helmet rivets around the earhole to a razor edge to cut the hands doing the head slapping, but those d-linemen's hands were so heavily taped & padded it did little or no good.

A well regulated Militia being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms shall not be infringed.

So no, I do not see anything wrong with owning guns, regardless of whether or not they are licensed, and this is coming from someone who is a liberal on almost every other issue.

Aaron Hernandez is the MVP of this squad. The most talented most violent POS in NFL history. A natural born killer. Drive by shootings, slaying friends 2 minutes from his house, duping bodies, damaging evidence, tossing his guns. All while chewing on some bubblicious gum. His homely face and promiscuous tattoos have been eye candy for reporters, but we may have not even uncovered all the dirt police have on Hernandez, or all the dirt he has thrown on his victims. His potential to make him a repeat offender as he spends the rest of his life in prison also spikes his interest for a team like this.

A close second is Rae Carruth. One of the more disgusting human begins to ever walk the planet. Didn't have nearly the amount of talent or potential as Hernandez, but every bit the steaming pile of **** that he is. Maybe even more so because he had someone else kill his pregnant girlfriend. When he went on the run he was hiding in a trunk and pissing in bottles while chewing on candy bars. If that's not thug life, then I don't know what is.

OJ Simpson, of course, cannot be forgotten. Sure he got away with a double murder, but it only captured our heats and imaginations as a country. He killed a white woman. The first notable black athlete to kill a white woman. And he didn't just kill her. He really did a hellof job. Slicing her up like a carved pig. Poor Ronny Goldman didn't stand a chance. As OJ did so well on the football field, he went right for his oppents jugulars. Nicole has become an American Icon due to the trial that was played in elementary schools in front of little children because old, white teachers couldn't get enough of it. Nicole has now become one of the best Halloween costumes for young white women. This is star power that even Hernandez can't match. So powerful that he made his victim famous and remembered every Halloween.

Titus Young was a terrible teammate and pretty lousy player, but his rap sheet is as long and as impressive as some career criminals. A very respectable starter for this team and the epitome of thug life. He would grab more headlines in one week for his numerous arrests than he ever did as a football player. Generally misunderstood because he's such a loving father he went out of his way to identify himself as Titus Young Sr on his jersey. A true mark of individualism. Young will find a way to stand out with the aforementioned murderers.

Adam Jones and his shenanigans started in college and haven't stopped 7 years into the league. The funny thing is, all he had to do was publicly renounce his nickname and he's a spokesperson for the NFL about how not to be a POS. Notirous for having a bad case of the hiccups.

Ray Lewis, a role model for Pacman Jones, learned from OJs book If I did It, Heres How It Happened. He got away with murder, ratted out his friends on the stand and then became the God fearing preacher with a quick tear jerking trigger, not the hair-trigger found in his old guns.

Rolondo McClain is a cop hating thug who blasts off rounds next to people's hears. Hasn't developed the cold heart of Hernendez yet, but his best days are ahead of him as he enjoys an early retirement from Football. Lots of time of his hands to become a really violent thug. Until then, I guess we'll just have to settle for some minor resisting arrest charges and false personation chargers, which are more armature maneuvers for thugs. I trust he will step his game up and, maybe, one day, challenge the legendary Ray Lewis at MLB.

Lyle Alzado would also make the team.

Yeah, I agree. And, one of Lyle's former teammates, Dwight Harrison, belongs on this list as well. This is a quote from Floyd Little's book Promises to Keep: My Inspired Run from Syracuse to Denver to the Hall:

"A year later, Dwight got into a fight with Lyle Alzado right before practice. Lyle teased Dwight for dropping passes, and Dwight told Lyle to shut up and worry about sacking the quarterback more. Well, Lyle whipped him pretty good. Dwight started telling everyone he was going to "kill that motherf---r"

"He looked like a character out of Pulp Fiction. "Where's that motherf---r Alzado?! I'm going to kill him". Everyone hit the floor, except me. Like a fool I said, "Dwight, he's not here, and you aren't going to kill anyone today".

Later, Floyd basically said that Ralston used the techniques that he learned at the Dale Carnegie school to get him to put his gun away, and he traded him to Buffalo to be back with Lou Saban, who drafted him the year before. The Broncos got Haven Moses in the deal. Harrison was switched to CB after he got to Buffalo.

According to the application for Brooks' arrest, the incident unfolded after Brooks, Divens and other 49er players spent the evening of June 7 at different players' houses. Eventually they decided to go to downtown San Jose and keep drinking.

The unidentified witness said Brooks was too intoxicated to drive home, so Divens drove. When they got to Brooks' house about 2 a.m. on June 8, Brooks asked for his keys. Divens pretended to chuck them onto the grass and then started to hand them to him.

Brooks then allegedly clocked Divens in the head with a beer bottle. Brooks allegedly began cursing and then struck him in the head again. Brooks allegedly asked Divens, "Do I need to get my (expletive deleted) gun?" and struck him again. Prosecutors also allege in the warrant that Brooks punched Divens.

The attack required Divens to get three stitches, and he initially wanted to press charges. However, the warrant application states that he has since changed his mind. When a San Jose police sergeant called Divens three days after the incident occurred, he said he wanted to drop it.

Two other teammates bore witness to Brooks' actions, according to Kaplan, and one of them was cited in the police report.

If the prosecutors' initial charge were to hold up and Brooks were convicted, it would carry a maximum sentence of four years in prison.

Donte' Stallworth does not deserve to be on this list. Yes, he hit someone while drinking with his car, and yes that is horrible. But did anyone actually read about the incident? The dude he hit tried to run across a busy freeway at 4 am (or was it 6 am?). Stallworth was not speeding, nor swerving or anything, the dude literally was trying to catch a bus and ran across the middle rather than at a cross walk. Also, Stallworths attorneys actually stated that because of all the evidence, Donte' could have gotten out of the manslaughter charges and wouldn't have had to gone to jail at all. But Donte' told them to plead guilty because "It was the right thing to do." He also gave that family a very hefty settlement, and accepted his punishments.
